Hey, welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your interest, especially to the Cherokee article. Often new users make edits to wikipedia which are called tests or even vandalism. Your edit is one of these, not necessarily super harmful, but not exactly an edit that makes the article better. We do have what we call the sandbox for edits that are "just for fun," such as yours. If you do have something to add to the article, feel free to do so, or to bring it up on the article's talk page: Talk:Cherokee. Anyway, I hope you enjoy working on Wikipedia. Generally new users are directed to read through some of our materials as a sort of introduction. Some good places to browse include, the five pillars of Wikipedia, how to edit a page, how to write a great article, our manual of style, and some key policy pages discuss the importance of subjects of Wikipedia being notable, and having edits be cited to reliable sources. Also, please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, ask me by email, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome!  Smmurphy(Talk) 16:25, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
