May 2014[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Channel Orange, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 23:32, 3 May 2014 (UTC)

Information icon Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Rated R (Rihanna album), without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 06:30, 4 May 2014 (UTC)

Kinda like what you're doing. (talk) 06:32, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
Please don't respond with accusations (WP:CIVILITY). "pop and R&B album" is clearly cited at Rated R (Rihanna album) in the article's #Music and lyrics section. Please cite a source verifying any changes or additions you make to Wikipedia articles. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 06:34, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
Well Talk That Talk states its a pop, dance, R&B album but it just keeps it as pop and dance and Unapologetic atates it is R&B via several sources and that's not there. So y'know (talk) 06:38, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
Please read the article--in the first article's #Music and lyrics section, it is cited that only elements of "R&B, hip hop, and house" are on the album, not that it is an R&B album. There is a consensus at Unapologetic regarding your other concern--the majority of reliable sources cited in the article explicitly call it "pop", while one says it has "stark, shadowy R&B". If you intend to pursue this further, please consider opening up a talk page post at either of the articles and get a consensus from other editors. Dan56 (talk) 06:49, 4 May 2014 (UTC)

Stop icon Do not use multiple IP addresses to vandalize Wikipedia, like you did here at Talk:Unapologetic. Such attempts to avoid detection, or circumvent the blocking policy will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dan56 (talk) 22:46, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
