Sock puppet editing and using blogs as a source[edit]

Apart from the obvious fact that you are a sock puppet of a currently blocked IP editor ~ and therefore all your edits are required to be reverted anyway ~ you are very mistaken if you think that blog sites run by activist organisations can be used as reliable sources. They can't. See WP:SOCK and WP:QUESTIONABLE. Afterwriting (talk) 14:00, 3 August 2013 (UTC)

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Mehmet Oz. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Per above. Start being civil[edit]

When you start being civil, I will respond in a civil manner. I am the same person, not a "sock puppet" despite the blatant lies of a biased admin ('Afterwriting') who CONSISTENTLY refused to tell me what was wrong with my edit (then when I tried a last-ditch attempt to get him/her to co-operate, had me blocked), then after finally giving me a bit of information, deleted it after I made changes. He/she then lied about the nature of my sources (I provided links to medical organisations such as the National Health Service and a translation of a report from the German Paediatric (UK spelling) Society). This is a child welfare issue. I will not go away - if you block me for no reason again it will be quite simple to download free IP-hiding software. I do not want to do this as I prefer to be open and honest. This is a child welfare issue. I did not go out of my way to find sources to dispute dangerous incompetent advice about the penis and foreskin from a doctor who is a CARDIOTHORACIC surgeon only for you to ignore your own policies (such as this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Ignoring_all_rules_%E2%80%93_a_beginner%27s_guide and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Content_removal 'If there is any doubt the removal may be controversial, or if it has been restored following a previous removal, it should be discussed on the page's talk page prior to removal') just because you are butthurt that you were circumcised. 82.3.65.116 (talk) 23:53, 5 August 2013 (UTC)

Your comments about me are completely false. The various problems with your editing were clearly explained to you together with relevant links to Wikipedia's policies on these matters. Instead of responding in anything resembling a "civil manner" you chose instead to respond with rants, abuse and threats. Your latest comments are a further example of this. And being "the same person" is the definition of a "sock puppet" editor. Also, I am not "biased" in any way on this issue and I'm also not an administrator and I didn't have you blocked. Afterwriting (talk) 02:07, 6 August 2013 (UTC)
Say what lies you want, the history of what you said (unless you edit it) is right there on the talk page. I repeatedly asked you to give me information instead of randomly deleting; you repeatedly avoided answering. Then YOU threatened me (despite the fact you now admit you're not an admin) and ranted against me. It's all there in black and white, yet you refuse to own up to it?
There were no lies, rants or threats on my part and I have never claimed to be an administrator. Any interested editors can check all my comments and see all this for themselves. Editors who check your history of comments, however, will quickly note the high level of personal abuse with which you have responded. I also gave you more than enough information about why your edits were not acceptable but you just repeatedly ignored it all and attempted to invent your own policies based on ignorance and misinterpretation. The deletions of your edits were not "random" in any way at all but were required as you were violating the BLP policies. Afterwriting (talk) 15:05, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 Hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Monty845 00:24, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Article now semi-protected[edit]

That means you will not be able to edit it. Again, as I added to your previous talk page, please look at Talk:Mehmet_Oz#Circumcision_section and comment. A final note: Wikipedia is not a soapbox. If you're only here to "spread the truth", you won't get very far. --NeilN talk to me 00:38, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You're not going to get the text in there without using to talk page to achieve consensus. NeilN talk to me 00:52, 5 October 2013 (UTC)
