How do you know that's not the way his family pronounces the name? I know plenty of people who pronounce their own names incorrectly. That information is taken from the Bulls' media guide, so we can assume Khryapa supplied it himself. Zagalejo^^^ 18:49, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- See the article's talk page, someone gives the pronounciation. There's just no reason why Khryapa would add an 'a', and drop the 'y'. This is typical American accent. See how Datsyuk is pronounced Datsook in North America ('y' dropped for no reason) or how Americans invent a vowel in the first syllable of Tverdovsky, Zdeno, Zbynek, Dvorak and others (complete "guide" at ). The fact there are two different versions of Khryapa's name on the very same website should tell you how unreliable this kind of source is. But whatever, go ahead with wrong info, why should I care anyway.
