Welcome to Wikipedia[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (89.100.20.87) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! You do not own this page. See WP:UP. Continued assertion to do so (as well as continuing to assert that you have complete control over this page) will be viewed as a violation of WP:NLT and will draw another block. --Nlu (talk) 02:48, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I want my IP REMOVED NOW! NOW! REMOVE IT FROM YOUR SITE NOW! YOU DAMNED THIEVES!

Every time you make an edit as an anon ip you see a message that reads, in part "You are not currently logged in. If you save any edits, your IP address will be recorded publicly in this page's edit history. If you create an account, you can conceal your IP address and be provided with many other benefits. " And everytime anyone makes an edit, whether loggen in or not, there is a notice that says "If you do not want your writing to be edited, used, and redistributed at will, then do not submit it here. " So, you have nobody to blame but yourself for ignoring these clear warnings. This ip has been the source of pretty much nothing but disruptive editing so there is no reason to grant you an exemption to our policies. Feel free to simply go away and not edit here anymore if it bothers you that much since you have not contributed anything of value anyway. Beeblebrox (talk) 03:33, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

This IP address has been blocked from editing (other than this talk page) for 72 hrs for calling another editor a "cunt" and threatening to keep vandalizing and harrassing people - see [1].

This is rude, abusive, and violates our policies against making personal attacks and harrassing people. Please stop.

Further abuse will lead to longer blocks. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 00:59, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

June 2011[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on WrestleMania XXVIII. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. -FASTILY (TALK) 18:12, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. -- DQ (t) (e) 18:19, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
