May 2013[edit]

This is your last and only warning. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to User talk:Materialscientist. DVdm (talk) 15:37, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

What vandalism? The IP is really used by a multitude of users. (talk) 15:40, 14 May 2013 (UTC)~

This warning was indeed a mistake on my part. It should have been a 4th level warning about adding the same unsourced content using a different IP, thus evading the block of the other IP. - DVdm (talk) 16:08, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

Request reason:

Please do not be rude and arrogant, I repeat, the IP is used by a multitude of users.

Decline reason:

Quite true of many IPs. This is why blocks on them are generally short unless they are a source of repeated disruption. Unfortunately, there is not really any way to verify if someone currently using one is the same as a source of recent disruption, or not. Since the only edit on record for this IP is the continuation of an apparent edit war, and there is not really a good way to ascertain if its current user is the same individual who used it for that purpose, it is general practice for it to remain blocked until the situation has dropped. - Vianello (Talk) 15:51, 14 May 2013 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired.
