February 2012[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Battle of Newton's Station, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Your recent editing history at Battle of Newton's Station shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. - Happysailor (Talk) 18:05, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

"please consider using the article's talk page" You have got to be fucking kidding me. -- (talk) 18:07, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
  • I have protected the page for an hour because of revert warring. With regards to my revert, I thought there previously were references in the page; I wouldn't have reverted it otherwise. If you want to discuss the inclusion of the empty section on the talk page, you have an opportunity to do it now. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 18:07, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Take a look at the edit comments, then block everyone not using any. Poof goes the edit war, because I'm the only one left. Same is true for the talk page. You are either a liar or unable to notice how insanely unfair you treat outsiders. -- (talk) 18:10, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
  • I haven't blocked anybody, and I happen to have protected it without the empty section (not that it matters). - Mike Rosoft (talk) 18:12, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
I was only pointing out that I was the only one trying to enter a dialog, yet I'm the one who get templated. -- (talk) 18:18, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
  • That said, please refrain from personal attacks. (Just like [[WP:EW|revert warring, this may be a ground for a block.) Instead, ask the involved editors or on the article talk page why they believe that the section should be there. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 18:14, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, but look closer and you will find that this was not a personal attack. -- (talk) 18:18, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Accusing me of being liar is not a personal attack? Or your response Happysailor? - Mike Rosoft (talk) 18:24, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Ah, but I didn't, did I? -- (talk) 18:44, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
    • Mike, there wes previously a reference on the page, but it was removed by the IP. (and for the IP, my post was a standard template, if someone doesnt answer you on a talk page, violating policies to get your own way is a sure-fire way of getting blocked) - Happysailor (Talk) 18:13, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Fuck off from my talk page. -- (talk) 18:18, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
there's no need to rude! stop shouting and swearing at everyone--Lerdthenerd wiki defender 18:20, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Look at how people treat me here, look at the article's history. People can be rude without using cuss words. -- (talk) 18:26, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
  • You have no right to demand other users not to edit you talk page; the talk page serves for other users to discuss with you (or to notify you if you engage in disruptive editing). - Mike Rosoft (talk) 18:24, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Whatever, he is no welcome here, and I can't see anything constructive in his messages. -- (talk) 18:26, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Again, you are not entitled to say that somebody is not welcome on your talk page, or to enage in personal attacks against him, no matter how much you disagree with him. (Looking at the article's history, it's just you who is rude.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 18:40, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Again, I'm only the one using cuss words, the people trying to avoid any interaction are the rude ones. (BTW, wouldn't "rude" constitute a personal attack?) -- (talk) 18:44, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

oh so now you have multiple IP addresses--Lerdthenerd wiki defender 18:46, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

That accusation is a personal attack and a blockable offense. -- (talk) 18:49, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
Sorry for that, I'm on a dynamic IP and haven't noticed the switch. -- (talk) 18:50, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
thats ok--Lerdthenerd wiki defender 18:51, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
