Simply Media DVD release dates[edit]

I noticed that you've added Simply Media DVD release dates to a variety of articles. Keep in mind that Wikipedia is not a means for promotion. If you are associated with Simply Media, please see our guideline on how to manage a conflict of interest. At any rate, you should cite a reliable source for information that you add to Wikipedia. This is to maintain our policy of verifiability, and to demonstrate that the information is of due weight. For DVD release, if nobody on the Internet cares to announce this event, then it's probably not worth adding to Wikipedia, either. For UK DVD release, you might consider checking www.dvdactive.com. The latest edited version is full of random dates not at all consistent with the actual timeline of events which do not give exact dates, but state "13 years later" which would be 1996 or 1997: not 1999, 2002, and 2003. Ruth is also not pregnant for four years "By September 1988, Ruth takes part in the yearly harvest, accomplished using the last remaining gasoline, supplemented with raw human labor. Ruth gives birth to her child in an abandoned barn." It must be said that the latest version is barely literate and the author appears unable to even comprehend a basic timeline. "A year after the war, by Friday, 26 May 1989"...A year? The war was not in 1979.

Where does the contributor get this from? It is clearly someone who has not even seen Threads adding their own strange and completely wrong perception of it, so it will need to be changed to how the entry was before. User:Mick Travis 00:07, 23 February 2018
