February 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Political status of Taiwan may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 01:36, 7 February 2014 (UTC)

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Kuji-kiri. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. Regarding Free area of the Republic of China[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Rzxz1980 (talk) 06:05, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

Hello. You may be responding to another user's edits to Free area of the Republic of China as you may feel he is wrong with his edits. However, your edits can be considered as edit warring, and is highly disruptive. If you persist in editing the article repeatedly without first addressing your issues with the user, I will have to report you to WP:AN/EW. Please attempt to solve your arguments in a civil and orderly manner, and not disruptively. Optakeover(Talk) 04:49, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

I am civilized, take a look at User:HkCaGu, he is the one who is screaming and yelling with his full capitalized letters. He is the one who is not being civil! Peace! (talk) 04:53, 12 February 2014 (UTC):)
Even then, you are obliged to solve your disputes over content through other means, such as posting to the user's talk page and discussing about the problem, rather than repeatedly trying to "win" by repeatedly editing the article. Optakeover(Talk) 05:00, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────I have posted a message on the article talk page, at Talk:Political status of Taiwan#HkCaGu and's edits. I suggest that you take a look at it. Have a great day! Optakeover(Talk) 05:10, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

You are on the verge of edit warring. Take it to a talk page or you may be the subject of a block. Mkdwtalk 05:11, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

I am trying to be a civilized as possible but the other dude User:HkCaGu is continually edit warring, pov pushing and basically attempting to rewrite history in favor of communist China. Wikipedia policy maintains that all editors must maintain neutral points of view in which case User:HkCaGu is repeat violator. Peace! :) (talk) 05:15, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  Mkdwtalk 05:20, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dougweller (talkcontribs) 15:01, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
