Emily Bright moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Emily Bright, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 18:25, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Abhiram1298

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Joseywales1961, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, 2027 Cricket World Cup, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Joseywales1961}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Sister Cities

[edit]

Hi, appreciate your concern to add sister cities at Hyderabad, here unfortunately while approving for FA status, it was recommended that sister cities should not be included in the article, as it is of no use. --Omer123hussain (talk) 14:21, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Yayati, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ananta. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Hello, I'm Iskandar323. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Forced conversion seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Iskandar323 (talk) 20:15, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Doug Weller talk 17:52, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You are making a lot of poor edits and deletions, all unexplained. This includes adding unsourced text. This must stop. Doug Weller talk 17:55, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:49, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Placenames

[edit]

Please stop changing the names within articles to be different from the article title.
This is the English Wikipedia, and our articles are based on the common name in English not the official name, and the common name should be used throughout the article, other than a brief mention of the official name in the lead and infobox.
We may, eventually, change the name, as we did at Mumbai, after about 10 years, but other articles, such as Bangalore (changed in 2006) are still under their "English" names, as this is what English readers recognize. - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 10:42, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
