Cabeza de Baca Family[edit]

Just a note--starting a page with little or no content (such as Cabeza de Baca Family's "This article is currently being written by Abqbobcat. Please come back soon!") is not really a good idea. It meets speedy deletion guidelines to tag an article with little or no relevant content.

I'd suggest two alternate plans...

  1. Write the majority of the article (or at least a significant chunk of it that includes its notability and relevant context) before clicking the "Save page" button--make use ofthe "Show preview" option to check for errors
  2. To spread article development time over a longer period, create a subpage of your user page (such as User:Abqbobcat/Cabeza de Baca Family on which you can write everything, tweaking the details and referencing sources, then export it to the mainspace (by copy & paste to the properly named article). Then request the deletion of your extra user page with {{db-author}}. [This is a good way to work on an article with a few collaborators, too...]

Anyways, thanks for your contributions. Hope my ideas help... -- Scientizzle 16:34, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the pointers![edit]

I would like to thank User:Scientizzle for infoming me of the Wikipedia policies. After the Cabeza de Baca Family page was deleted, I went back and re-created it with enough information to satisfy the editors. I won't create a unfinished page again!

Ambox warning yellow.svg

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Cabeza de Baca Family, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Luis de Rosas[edit]

Hello. I saw that you were creating the article by Luis de Rosas in 2006, but for some reason you never published it. I was wondering if you'd want to help me write the article. I have a source, which is the only one I found on the Internet, although some of the data you already have them. Instead, you have two sources, I believe that together we could publish it. I have my part done. I hope your answer. Greetings.--Isinbill (talk) 19:44, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
