Daewoo Lacetti — US or UK spelling[edit]

Hi, the Daewoo Lacetti article has historically used US spelling. These spelling differences are not typos. Please do not switch to UK spelling unless there is a compelling reason. South Korea, like Japan tends to use US English over UK English. Wikipedia policy is to use local English spellings in articles with national ties (South Korea tends to use US spelling, and GM is based in the US). If there is no national tie, policy is to use the spelling originally used (in this case US spelling, see: [1], [2]). As far as I am concerned, there is no reason to change to UK spelling. In reply: Your argument is accepted: except in reference to UK and Commonwealth countries where UK English should be used. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adrian J Stevens (talkcontribs) 23:12, 14 October 2015‎ (UTC)
Hi, yes, you are correct that UK spelling is preferred for UK or Australian cars, etc. However, we do not switch between UK and US spelling in the same article—it needs to be consistent right through. OSX (talkcontributions) 23:17, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
