List of Wii games: region splits comment[edit]

I've started this discussion about it:Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Video_games#List_of_Wii_games_is_now_split_by_region. You did a drastic change to the article, with little consensus. RobJ1981 (talk) 21:39, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fire Emblem DS[edit]

Hey there. I was wondering where you got your source from to confirm its new title. Thanks. Ashnard Talk Contribs 16:37, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[1]-- "Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon: A reinvention of the original NES(TM) titles with revamped graphics and intuitive touch control, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon will finally introduce longtime fans to the stories that gave birth to the series nearly 20 years ago in Japan, while introducing the Fire Emblem franchise to a broader audience of strategy and chess fans. Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon also reveals the back story of Marth, the original lead character in the Fire Emblem series introduced and made popular in North America by the Super Smash Bros.(R) series of fighting games."

Is this good? Their source is directly from Nintendo. Aether7 (talk) 17:09, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah; great. I was just making sure. Thanks. Ashnard Talk Contribs 18:18, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nintendo task force membership update[edit]

Hello,

It's that time again to update membership status with the Nintendo task force, which we try to do every 3-4 months (though it's been actually 6 months since the last one) to keep our membership up-to-date.

All participants have been placed on an "Inactive participants" list. To confirm that you're still a member of the Nintendo task force, simply go to Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Nintendo#Members and move your name from the "Inactive participants" list to the bottom of the "Active participants" list. If you are no longer an active member in the task force, you may simply remove your name altogether. After 1 month, on 1 April 2010, all entries under the "Inactive participants" list will be removed. Hopefully you can stay with us and continue to work on Nintendo-related articles. Regards, –MuZemike 17:26, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Dawn Brigade.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Dawn Brigade.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:05, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
