Diamond Yukai[edit]

Nuvola apps important yellow.svg

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Diamond Yukai, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. E-mail[edit]

Sorry, not interested and likely not really qualified. Thank you, Vsmith (talk) 02:32, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

thanks for the quick response. i just put a "fortune" on it, so by principle i have no reason for a complaint at all. -Alexander.stohr (talk) 13:00, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Information.svg Hello Alexander.stohr! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 3,023 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Jerome Hauer - Find sources: "Jerome Hauer" – news · newspapers · books · scholar · highbeam · JSTOR · free images · wikipedia library

2-byte longs in Visual C++?[edit]

I realize you were merely rearranging information when you made this edit, but do you have any information to support the claim that the "16 bit version of Visual C++" ever used 2-byte longs? I really can't believe this. I've started a discussion here. —Steve Summit (talk) 13:40, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

Article on Idee fixe[edit]

Your edit on monomania suggests you might have an interest in the new article Idée fixe. Hope you take a look. Brews ohare (talk) 16:56, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Alba Arnova[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Alba Arnova has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Regards, SunCreator (talk) 22:31, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Anat[edit]

Hello.

I'm curious, what is your basis for this edit, [1]? SamEV (talk) 04:32, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

Its the substantial, phonetic, regional and timely relative closeness of the terms - that when you doing research on it have some likeliness of getting intermixed. As wikipedia spent a separate article for each it might be worth a note to help people find those articles rather than letting them stumble in and edit the existing article by adding a "second meaning" of the word. --Alexander.stohr (talk) 13:50, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for responding.
The "See also" section is for links to articles that are directly relevant to the subject. If ambiguity is an issue, the way to address that is by adding a hatnote such as Template:Distinguish (it goes at the top of the article). However, I doubt very much that there's ambiguity in this case.
Cheers. SamEV (talk) 07:52, 20 February 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 14[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Surakarta, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bengawan Solo. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
