Speedy deletion nomination of Michellediba[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Michellediba requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Proposed deletion of Tia Marrie[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Tia Marrie has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Joey Graceffa[edit]

I note your comment, but do not accept the implied rebuke. You made the edit summary request to userfy on October 14th; after several more edits the article was nominated for deletion and deleted on October 20th. While it is expected that an admin will give due consideration to the text of a nominated article, and will also ensure that the article has not recently been vandalized or otherwise mutilated, it is not expected that we should also read the edit summaries. If you expect an article to be deleted then the place to put a userfy request is on the article talk page if a deletion nomination is made; I assume that you watch pages you have recently created? This articles has already been deleted several times, and in my personal opinion nothing short of a complete re-write would give it any chance of surviving here. But I will move it to your talk-page if you wish. Let me know. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 11:57, 24 October 2013 (UTC)

New attack artilces[edit]

Every incident of casualties doesn't warrant its own page. Especially where there is no lasting notability. Three sentences can and should be added to the List of terrorist incidents, 2014 page(Lihaas (talk) 23:12, 12 March 2014 (UTC)).

When the event is notable enough for its own article, I create a new article. In the case of the attack in India, the event was covered in many news sources and I felt it was notable enough to have its own article. Also, I know that every incident does not warrant its own article. If I didn't know that, then I would have created articles on all the bombings that occur in places like Iraq. Hello, Andise1. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Suez bus crash, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Ravendrop 22:58, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

Private messages.[edit]

I don't know why you are leaving hostile notes on my talk page, but I suggest you approach admin if you have an issue with me, as I have no wish to communicate with you in the form of private messages. If indeed it is necessary to relay issues in this way, I will be sure to express my issues with you, on your talk pages also.

In particular, you were quick to intercede with condemnation of me, when I was addressing a poster who chose to quote me erroneously, in a pointed exchange targeting me. I do not smile at such behaviour. Now if you had also acted as some kind of arbitrary neutral, then maybe your words to me would have some credence. As it is, you ignore my issues and simply seek to valid other peoples. Go to admin if you have an issue with me, as I have no friendship or reason to trust you. I have a long list of recorded incidents where people have acted outside of wikiguidlines toward me, and I will continue to record these issues for that hearing.

If its necessary to relay issues personally, I am happy to play note tennis with you. If it is not, then by all means, talk to someone else about it, as in lieu of friendship or any show of common respect, etiquette or civility on your part, we literally have nothing to say.

Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.101.41.108 (talk) 00:15, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

Renaming an article[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to change 2014 Likasi train accident's title to 2014 Katanga train derailment by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen. Thank you. —David Levy 04:15, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

Sorry, I originally created an article about the derailment before I noticed one was already created. I just did the cut and paste method because I completely forgot about using the move tab. I'll be sure to use the move tab next time. Andise1 (talk) 04:40, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Real Friends[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Real Friends has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Band fails WP:BAND...no charting songs, no certified/charting albums, no independently notable musicians, etc.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Shearonink (talk) 02:26, 14 July 2014 (UTC)

I deleted your speedy deletion tag. The band is very notable and has had news articles written about them. The band is also touring as part of the Vans Warped Tour, which is another component of their notability. I will try and work on the article and add more information when I get the chance. I think the article has room for improvement among other editors, and has more information than some other articles on Wikipedia. Andise1 (talk) 02:40, 14 July 2014 (UTC)

2014 Rada' bombings[edit]

I don't know how much expansion is needed. However, if not expanded, the article should merge/redirect to List of terrorist incidents, 2014. --George Ho (talk) 05:16, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

It actually shouldn't be merged, because it is notable on its own as shown by the reliable sources in the article, as well as other ones that can be found via a Google search. Andise1 (talk) 06:05, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
As I told you already, not all "notable" topics deserve a stand-alone article. A "notable" event can be suitable at one list or an article of a related topic per WP:MERGE. --George Ho (talk) 07:23, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
Yes, but this "topic" is notable on its own. Andise1 (talk) 17:24, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
The article must adhere to WP:NOT policy, including WP:NOTNEWS. If WP:N and WP:N(E) doesn't discourage this stand-alone article, perhaps a policy will. --George Ho (talk) 18:31, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

Illini articles[edit]

Just make sure the subjects meet WP:GNG as college players are not inherently notable. This would mean the players would need to be the subject of multiple independent media pieces that are about them as individuals, not just as members of the team. Generally things that are not permissible are things like articles published by the school, conference or recruiting sites (not independent), as well as game reports (eg "Bob Jones scored 23 for the visiting Tigers"). Also, please look at existing articles to understand formatting guidelines. I will fix these articles and add the relevant Wikiprojects to the Talk pages for now, but if you plan to create articles regularly you should learn the standards (things like "Eastlake High School" would display as "Eastlake (Eastlake, Iowa"). I'll research later and see if I have a personal opinion on their notability. Rikster2 (talk) 20:02, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

Thanks. I was basing the articles off of another college basketball article as I previously had not had much experience in creating college basketball articles. I know that college players are not inherently notable, but if I happen to see quite a bit of coverage on an individual, I will try to create an article on them. As for these two individuals, I had a bit of knowledge about them, and when I searched I saw articles that primarily covered them. Andise1 (talk) 20:30, 2 January 2015 (UTC)

Rhododendrites, I have significantly updated the article with much more information and many more sources. The article is now notable enough to keep. Please remove the speedy deletion tag when you get the chance. Thanks! Andise1 (talk) 07:29, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
I did so. Thanks for adding to the article. --— Rhododendrites talk \\ 01:04, 7 February 2015 (UTC
No problem! I should have added more to it right when I created it but I guess I just forgot to. Andise1 (talk) 01:16, 7 February 2015 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rotting Out, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages San Pedro and The Story So Far (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Stitches (rapper)[edit]

Please familiarise yourself with the Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons policy - we do not assert that unconvicted individuals have distributed narcotics. Frankly, I have no idea why you have recreated this article anyway - the individual clearly doesn't meet WP:MUSICBIO, and he seems to have done nothing of note beyond engaging in self-publicity. AndyTheGrump (talk) 01:23, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

I created it because he has been the subject of numerous articles and based on the sufficient coverage I felt he warranted an article. The previous article on his was bad, but this article is better with many more sources. The drug information can be removed if it hasn't been already though. Andise1 (talk) 01:40, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
So what exactly are you suggesting is he notable for? It clearly isn't his music (he fails WP:MUSICBIO), and almost everything else seems to be a fabrication. AndyTheGrump (talk) 01:43, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
Music, because there are sources out there that talk about this. If there weren't any, I would not have created the article. I also reverted your edit and restored the criticism section, but removed the information on cocaine. The sources are there to show that he ends shows early. Andise1 (talk) 01:46, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
"Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent of the musician or ensemble itself." Andise1 (talk) 01:52, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
Which sources actually discuss his music though? From what I've seen the only thing they report in any depth is his fake 'drug dealer' persona. AndyTheGrump (talk) 01:53, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
I added some more sources and will continue to do so as I find them. Andise1 (talk) 02:11, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Cameron Dallas (Vine)[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Cameron Dallas (Vine), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Wgolf (talk) 03:55, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

Since there is significant coverage on the subject of this article, and that coverage is shown in the article, I strongly suggest the article not be deleted. There is plenty of coverage on this individual, which is clearly evident if you look at the article. Whoever previously created the article probably did not include many sources, or created the article in an improper format, however I have done neither of those. Andise1 (talk) 04:07, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
I have restored the article based on the Deletion Review discussion, and moved it to Cameron Dallas where it belongs. I apologize; my deletion was hasty. You still might want to look at the DRV discussion, which contains some advice for future situations like this. --MelanieN (talk) 14:28, 27 May 2015 (UTC)
Thanks! I looked at the DRV discussion and realize I probably should have gone about creating the article a different way, but the way I did it was the only way I thought would work at the time. In the future I'll use the advice given. Andise1 (talk) 14:32, 27 May 2015 (UTC)

Re: Ingrid Nilsen[edit]

Speedy deletion nomination of Tiny Engines[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tiny Engines requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Proposed deletion of Turnstile (band)[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Turnstile (band) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:MUSICBIO. One of the sources is a brief mention of the band in relation to a tour. Three sources are essentially press releases for upcoming albums. Only one source goes into detail--an album review. I found other non-professional reviews online. Perhaps a case of WP:TOOSOON, but clearly does not meet notability criteria.
