Jose Duran[edit]

Sorry, I missed your request to add this to Deaths in 2010. Do you still want to have him added? In any case, I have asked the protecting Admin to review his decision. Cheers. Rodhullandemu 22:54, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

I just noticed I had privilege to edit, and I've added it myself. --Andres arg (talk) 22:59, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Orlando Barone[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

A tag has been placed on Orlando Barone requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ttonyb (talk) 23:49, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

No problem...[edit]

...looks as if you already did. Been having some trouble lately with another user creating similar articles where the grammar isn't up to snuff. Looks better now; sorry for the inconvenience. PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:05, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

Nelly Panizza[edit]

Hi. There is a long-standing consensus at Recent deaths that redlinks remain for one month after the death of the person. If no Wikipedia article is written in that period, then the redlinked entry is deleted. Notability is confirmed in Wikipedia when an article survives one of the speedy deletion, proposed deletion or articles for deletion processes. Until that happens, it is just a matter of opinion whether a particular person is notable or not. If you believe that Nelly Panizza is notable, you may care to write an article stub about her. In that way, her notability can be tested, her redlink will turn blue, and her death notice will remain unchallenged. Regards, WWGB (talk) 01:18, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

About 2010 earthquakes[edit]

Hi, I have checked the news link you gave and found that the news cited the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center, in which I did not find any information about an M6.5 earthquake occurring northeast of Hawaii. The West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center also uses USGS as its earthquake info resource, and I did not find any M6.5 or similar earthquake occurring northeast of Hawaii. Could you please check again and modify the article if necessary? Thanks. Qrfqr (talk) 13:49, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

Cristino Nicolaides[edit]

Sorry about the bad edit. I used a machine translation of the Spanish reference and did not read it closely enough. I have restored the criminal mention. Regards, WWGB (talk) 06:20, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

February 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from 2010 Northeast Asia earthquake. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Jose Carbajal[edit]

There is an article in the works for the Jose Carbajal, and should be up within a week or so. The other one had been referred to on many pages as simply Jose Carbajal, but those pages dealt with the the history of Mexico and/or the history of Texas. He's an important revolutionary figure. That's why the move. Maile66 (talk) 19:08, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

Re: Youtube[edit]

Generally speaking, Youtube videos are not reliable when they are made by random users. However, when they are made by reliable news sources as Al Jazeera, they may be treated as reliable. ~~ Lothar von Richthofen (talk) 19:10, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

Re: your update of Facundo Argüello[edit]

I just wanted to point out that you entered a future date (26 November 2013) as the date of highest ranking for Facundo Argüello (tennis). You might want to correct that.

HandsomeFella (talk) 23:53, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

Done. If this happened again, you may do it yourself if you want. Thanks for letting me know though. Greetings.--Andres arg (talk) 00:59, 19 February 2013 (UTC)--Andres arg (talk) 00:59, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Sopher99 !!!!!!!!![edit]

What is he doing!!! some body sould stop him. He reverted 5 times with no source. You guys really made him crazy when you refused to give him those villages in Der-Alzor (for FSA against ISIS). Please give him Mars and tell him to leave the page. Opposition has no control in alawite and christian villages in Masyaf and west of Homs and Hama. and no control al all in Tartus. I gave him a map from opposition itself. It is very well known fact and he knows it very well, but as you refused to give him those villages in est of Syria, he will delete Damascus itself !!!

I know I am new, and I was not giving sources to every thing, but Hanibal and another user did tell me that and they guided me and checked my edits, and I am contacting them to understand how to make things in the right ways. But this guy Sopher99 is really amazing !!! He is a country himself and nobody can ever tell him what to do.

Disambiguation link notification for March 2[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Marcela Acuña, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Salto (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
