Hello! This is a generic message created and copied to all editors using scripts that I have created. @Crouch, Swale: Thank you for doing that. Yes I'm sure it can be submitted now. The only thing I wonder about it is is it really a village now? There's the church and school and maybe a couple of houses but they're basically detached from Dane End while also being close to Green End, and there is no place named as Little Munden on the Ordnance Survey map, for example. — 🌼📽️AnemoneProjectors💬 01:37, 29 January 2019 (UTC)

Hayley Slater, EastEnders

On the soap opera villains list, Hayley Slater from EastEnders was on there a while back with a source from I think from memory the Daily Express which referred to her as a villain. That's ok. You've sort-of pinged me on the villains list talk page, it's where you put the {{ping}} template with my username but unfortunately if you don't put a message after it and sign it, then it doesn't notify me. I replied there anyway, but to save you sending me the message twice you can do it that way. Business Name changes

Hello, @AnemoneProjectors:I am not sure if this is where i am supposed to add my comment, but this is regarding a series of business name changes that I made last year, an example of which is the below link. The mention of Casting Call Pro in the references was changed to Mandy as the company Casting Call Pro rebranded to Mandy.com. Is that something that is not allowed? The business now is recognised as Mandy. Please advise. Thanks

I reverted a few but I have noticed that the links don't actually work. For example, on Calvin Dean, it forwards to a search page, and on George Young (actor), it just forwards to the Mandy home page. This is the same for all of them, therefor I won't be changing any more of them back. If you are able to link to find links that actually work, you will have to update them yourself. If not, it would be best to leave them as they are and try to find a record in an Internet archive (as with Alyssa Nicole Pallett), and then use that archived page instead. Though I noticed that even Pallett's page says the user is no longer on the system. — 🌼📽️AnemoneProjectors💬 11:01, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

Hi, the page title should remain at Tanya Branning so I've reverted the edits to Tanya Jessop and protected it, the same as I previously did with Tanya Cross. Why have I received this message? All administrators are receiving it. What prompted you to send this message? Recently, several Wikipedia admin accounts were compromised. The admin accounts were desysopped on an emergency basis. In the past, the Committee often resysopped admin accounts as a matter of course once the admin was back in control of their account. The committee has updated its guidelines. Admins may now be required to undergo a fresh Request for Adminship (RfA) after losing control of their account. What do I need to do? Only to follow the instructions in this message. Check that your password is unique (not reused across sites). Check that your password is strong (not simple or guessable). Administrator account security (Correction to Arbcom 2019 special circular)

ArbCom would like to apologise and correct our previous mass message in light of the response from the community.

Since November 2018, six administrator accounts have been compromised and temporarily desysopped. In an effort to help improve account security, our intention was to remind administrators of existing policies on account security — that they are required to "have strong passwords and follow appropriate personal security practices." We have updated our procedures to ensure that we enforce these policies more strictly in the future. The policies themselves have not changed. In particular, two-factor authentication remains an optional means of adding extra security to your account. The choice not to enable 2FA will not be considered when deciding to restore sysop privileges to administrator accounts that were compromised.

We are sorry for the wording of our previous message, which did not accurately convey this, and deeply regret the tone in which it was delivered.
