Your e-mail[edit]

Hi, I received your e-mail:

I was warned that I was spamming. Au contraire: I just found that the entire page for my software platform was deleted.
I have restored this with minimal links NOT including my own.
The only links left here are ones that the entire industry will use.
Please check Visual_DataFlex and kindly take me off your watch list. I will play by the rules.

First of all, please use Wikipedia talk pages (such as this one) for Wikipedia-related discussion.

The warning above was for adding applausesoftware.{com,biz,blogspot.com} links to random unrelated articles. This is an obvious attempt at spamming.

The "Visual DataFlex" article was deleted by User:Mushroom (per deletion log) under the criteria for speedy deletion g11: "Blatant advertising. Pages which exclusively promote some entity and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten to become encyclopedic."

Wikipedia is not a vehicle for promotion, Wikipedia strives for neutrality. The conflict of interest guideline states that you should not edit articles whose subject is directly related to you.

If you wish to constructively contribute to Wikipedia, please forget about promotion; Wikipedia:Introduction is a good start. -- intgr [talk] 17:59, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
