[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Industrial Promotion and Development Company of Bangladesh, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 05:56, 16 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Request for an Unblock Appeal

[edit]

unblock|I created a wikipedia account four days ago with my personal username in order to be able to update the valuable information of the company, IPDC Finance Limited. Since the username might be used later in the future to edit the page, I was told by my supervisor to use a username that can be used by other people in the company for editing purposes. Hence, I opened another wiki account with the username identical to the company name and tried using it to edit the page. While doing so, I was blocked and I realized that this is against the policy. Since I'm new to wikipedia, I wasn't aware of this policy and promise to never repeat this mistake in the future. If unblocked, I will continue using my personal username to edit the content of this page. It's very important to update the information on this page, as the current content is inaccurate and misleading. Thank you in advance.

Hello Aroni965. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Industrial Promotion and Development Company of Bangladesh. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a black hat practice.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Aroni965. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Aroni965|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. – Train2104 (t • c) 15:14, 17 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Changing to the current and official logo of IPDC Finance Limited

[edit]

The following is the link to the official logo of IPDC Finance Limited. The current logo is misleading. I would like to request you to change the current logo to the following one. I'm not being able to do it on my own. Thank you. File:IPDC_Official_Logo.png
