Disambiguation link notification for November 30[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Hawaii House of Representatives, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pauoa (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Edits to lead of Boston Marathon bombings, MOS:BOLDTITLE[edit]

Hi, thanks for your contributions to the article. I noticed you've added the lead in a format like "The Boston Marathon bombings were a series of two consecutive bombings which occurred on the afternoon of April 15, 2013 at the 2013 Boston Marathon" a couple times, and it's been reverted by me and other people. The problem with this is that it creates a redundancy: "Boston Marathon bombings...were bombings at the Boston Marathon." The title we're using is just a descriptive name, not any sort of official name for the event, so it doesn't need to appear in bold; it's contrary to Wikipedia's Manual of Style to do so. If you read the MOS:BOLDTITLE and WP:SBE pages, they give additional details on how and when titles should be bolded, and why this type of superfluous bolding is bad. Thanks! – 2001:db8:: (rfc | diff) 04:32, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Gold Fields (band)[edit]

Hello Atakuzier. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Gold Fields (band)".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Gold Fields (band)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 22:17, 14 August 2014 (UTC)

January 2015[edit]

While the Wikipedia community appreciates any effort to expand the free encyclopedia, we must ask that you stop adding sections which are non-notable or non-encyclopedic in nature, or which have been frequently removed in the past. I have found your edit to the article 2015, to be non-encyclopedic under and I have reverted it for this reason. I offer my good-faith warning that further reposts and any vandalism may lead to a ban against your IP address from an administrator who agrees with this point of view. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.--Fruitloop11 (talk) 00:16, 1 January 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
