- Please do not mass tag articles for PROD deletions (or AFD deletions). It takes you seconds to put a tag on an article but each page has to be evaluated by an administrator before being deleted. NRHP PRODS
[edit]The entire tracking structure of the NRHP wikiproject is built around county-level lists. See Wikipedia:WikiProject National Register of Historic Places#progress. There are other ways of organizing NRHP articles, and they are not mutually exclusive, but deleting county-level lists would be substantially disruptive. I have reverted all of your PRODS; you need consensus for that kind of mass deletion. Acroterion (talk) 00:08, 29 March 2025 (UTC)
- The county-level search terms are much more likely than Doncram's idosyncratic choice of National Register of Historic Places listings in the Alamo region of Texas, and the list structure is based on counties, mirroring the National Park Service's and state SHPO organizations, not metropolitan areas. Doncram (now sadly deceased) came up with some rather odd and marginal choices of articles and organization during his tenure. As a longtime participant in the NRHP wikiproject I'd never run across that kind of metropolitan area grouping. Acroterion (talk) 16:43, 29 March 2025 (UTC)
- If you check the NRHP talk page archives section 69, you'll find the discussion around the groupings and some of the progress. The main reason initially for it was to group a bunch of the counties together so the mapping script would put them all together into one map, instead of having a map for each county, making it easier to compare where sites were across county lines. While the reasoning worked, i think it overduplicaated things. Plus there's better ways to map things now, so, at least in my opinion, the regional lists are no longer necessary. 25or6to4 (talk) 22:16, 29 March 2025 (UTC)

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
