License tagging for Image:Landmarinerange.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Landmarinerange.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

hearing range[edit]

Thank you for uploading the File:Landrange.jpg image. May I ask where you got the "Human 64 - 23,000" numbers from? The first few references I looked at in the hearing range article and equal-loudness contour article all seem to agree on a human hearing range of "20 Hz to 20 000 Hz". --68.0.124.33 (talk) 00:37, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

A pity this image was deleted. It was instructive for my students to see this comparative range of so many animals. An annotation that there was disagreement on the exact range values might have been a better solution. Mlnovaaa (talk) 19:24, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
