Referencing

[edit]

Please see Help:Referencing for beginners to learn how to create references. sup /sup is wrong. One suggestion - work on refs in your own Sandbox, then cut/paste into articles only when satisfied with the formatting. David notMD (talk) 07:39, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

For a science journal reference, go to https://tools.wmflabs.org/citation-template-filling/cgi-bin/index.cgi and insert the PMID number. The software will generate a reference. I replaced what you added to Orthodontics. David notMD (talk) 02:51, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Is there any YouTube video that teaches how to add references, coz I find it confusing. Badri313 (talk) 10:11, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I also found it confusing. Again, Help:Referencing for beginners should be of some help. For sci journals, the shortcut I provided. Also, find an existing article ref of the type you intend to use, for example, cite web, copy that into your Sandbox, then replace the content with the content of your new ref, and then paste into article.
