I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Dancing with the Stars (U.S. TV series) because it did not appear constructive. Speedy deletion nomination of Dancing with the Stars (U.S. season 19[edit]

Hello Bautista anne,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dancing with the Stars (U.S. season 19 for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Rob (talk) 23:18, 18 June 2014 (UTC)

  • Adding to what Rob just said: it is simply too early to create an article on that season when all we know is that it has been commissioned. Until some significant, reliably sourced information is available, there's no need for it. (At the moment, we don't know the premiere date, how many weeks, which judges, hosts, professional dancers, etc. Remember that Wikipedia is not a news site, but an encyclopedia: the key isn't to get any information up, but reliable, notable, sourced information when there's enough of it to make an article. It's probably a different mindset than you're used to, but it's one that you'll need to embrace for your future contributions. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:14, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
