A tag has been placed on Quantifica, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Quantifica and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Jasynnash2 (talk) 12:46, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Omsyc[edit]

A tag has been placed on Omsyc, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Tresiden (talk) 14:00, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Quantifica Logo.JPG)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Quantifica Logo.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:14, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Quantifica article deleted[edit]

Can you tell me why in what way my article was advertisement? What should I change? I used articles made for competitors and nobody seem to think their articles were advertisement: Gartner, Forrester Research, Informa... Check these out. Bebeagrafe (talk) 12:22, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

While I'm happy to answer questions, it looks like your question could have been answered and resolved more quickly if you had used my message wizard. It's linked as "Talk" after my name and at the top of my talk page. Why not try it next time? The answer to your question can be found by choosing the appropriate selection from this page. Please note that the page was deleted by User:RHaworth and not me.
Please don't remove other people's comments from talk pages, as you did in this edit. It is considered vandalism. Use the sandbox if you wish to test. Stifle (talk) 13:00, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I did not delete the page. Please contact the user who deleted the page. Stifle (talk) 13:10, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I know you did not delete it, but the user who did told me to a deletion review and so I did. And then you were the first person who added something to it. That's why I'm asking you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bebeagrafe (talkcontribs) 13:22, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your message. In future, please sign your messages by typing ~~~~ at the end.
Let's take the discussion up at the deletion review, then, where everyone can see it, rather than here. Stifle (talk) 13:32, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
