Support request with team editing experiment project
Dear tech ambassadors, instead of spamming the Village Pump of each Wikipedia about my tiny project proposal for researching team editing (see here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IdeaLab/Research_team_editing), I have decided to leave to your own discretion if the matter is relevant enough to inform a wider audience already. I would appreciate if you could appraise if the Wikipedia community you are more familiar with could have interest in testing group editing "on their own grounds" and with their own guidance. In a nutshell: it consists in editing pages as a group instead of as an individual. This social experiment might involve redefining some aspects of the workflow we are all used to, with the hope of creating a more friendly and collaborative environment since editing under a group umbrella creates less social exposure than traditional "individual editing". I send you this message also as a proof that the Inspire Campaign is already gearing up. As said I would appreciate of *you* just a comment on the talk page/endorsement of my project noting your general perception about the idea. Nothing else. Your contribution helps to shape the future! (which I hope it will be very bright, with colors, and Wikipedia everywhere) Regards from User:Micru on meta.
My changes to Institute of Advanced Motorists wiki page
Dear sir, In response to your recent message, where you accused me of 'disruptive editing,' and violating neutrality, I would like to point out as an employee of said company, I have been asked by my directors to change this severely outdated page to include new information about my company. I have now inputted this twice over, only to have to start again each time. I am not happy about this, it is using a lot of my time and I only want to include accurate information - which our profile does not currently have. Regards, Rodney
Sorry and humble request (Swarnimwear)
Dear sir, the page which i have created has been removed because of importance or significance of the subject. I will create this page with better content. but it is my humble request to remove the deletion tag from the page as it will create a negative image on public about my organization. Thank you in advance for your consideration. Regards []
Speedy deletion nomination of Itchy Poopzkid
Hello Bentogoa. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that you shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1), content (CSD A3), or significance (CSD A7) moments after they are created, as you did at Itchy Poopzkid. It's best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks..
