License tagging for Image:Crowning as Emperor in Skoplje.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Crowning as Emperor in Skoplje.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Removal of LGBT-related content at Belgrade[edit]

Hi. Please stop removing the paragraph on LGBT culture in Belgrade. The content is encyclopedic and relevant in the context of the article. Thanks, Ronline 06:32, 10 October 2006 (UTC) I think that LGBT for night life in Belgrade is totally irrelevant. They are not in serbian tradition, and there are more interessing stuff than small GAY parties.[reply]

Codeshares in Belgrade Airport[edit]

I am NOT vandalising the page. I am simply following the directions found [1]. We do not list codeshares in Wikipedia. American Airlines do not fly their own metal to BEG, but only codeshare with British Airways to London. We only list the primary carriers in airport articles. Please read the instructions first before accusing other people of vandalism. Elektrik Blue 82 01:02, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I removed Adria Airways from the list because it does not show up in independent timetables like OAG.com. If you can show another source besides the airports' website, then it would be good to list them. Elektrik Blue 82 16:27, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image Tagging for Image:Grb hrebeljanovica.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Grb hrebeljanovica.gif. However, the copyright tag you've used is deprecated or obsolete, and should not be used. This could be because the tag is inaccurate or misleading, or because it does not adequately specify the copyright status of the image.

List of notable buildings in Belgrade. --estavisti 00:11, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

(List of notable buildings in Belgrade). Talk:Belgrade#Tourism_.26_Media. --estavisti 01:03, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If the substance of this edit is accurate, feel free to re-add with citation. But please be aware that the locution "Jew George Soros" is more or less an ethnic insult. Unspecified source for Image:Crowning Tzar Dushan.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Crowning Tzar Dushan.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Re:[edit]

Well, no; Kotromanics weren't Orthodox - most of them were Catholics (they were only originally Orthodox - the first two Bans); and what makes them "Serbian", and not "Bosnian"? --PaxEquilibrium 19:21, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Really? Are Bulgarians Serbs? --PaxEquilibrium 01:15, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The "Orthodox=Serb" can be easily applied to Herzegovina - but not Bosnia (Orthodox Serbs lived only in the easternmost parts of the Drina). Bosnia was not a component part of the Serbian Orthodox Church - and yes, what do you think, where did so many Bogomils come from? The Bosnian Church originates from the Bulgarians (to Bosnia it came after expulsions from the Serbian lands). An Orthodox Serbo-Croat in the Medieval ages could have any affiliation, expecially if he's not even an adherent of the SPC. Cheers! --PaxEquilibrium 01:34, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Čedomir Jovanović[edit]

Hello. I wonder where did you get the info that Čedomir Jovanović is of Roma origin. I have never heard that except once when one user persistently put it back in the article until it was locked. He never wanted to provide any link or evidence to support his claims. Can you do that? Since information is totally new and widely unknown even in Serbia from where he comes I deleted it but of course you are free to put it back if you cite some source. Thanks a lot. --Trigor 11:20, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. But you still need to state your sources that his parents are of Roma origin. It is wrong to say that anybody who has a bit darker skin is a Roma. I think that Roma people would agree with that. I completely agree that if his parents are of Roma origin it would be ok to state that he too is of Roma origin. Thanks for replaying. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trigor (talkcontribs) 09:43, March 24, 2007

Croatia article, inserting POV[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. As a member of the Wikipedia community, I would like to remind you to adhere to Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy for editors, which it appears you have not followed at Croatia. Thank you. -- xompanthy 16:44, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do NOT remove warnings placed on your talk page! It is against policy and could be interpreted as vandalism. -- xompanthy 22:22, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did to Croatia, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This is your second warning. Serbs were neither the only refugees in the war, nor the majority. Please do NOT substitute fact for fiction. Thank you. -- xompanthy 19:22, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Are you just copy-pasting the warnings I put on your talk page on my talk page? Do you honestly think that will get you anywhere? You have a well documented history of not following wikipedia policy (90% of your talk page are BOT WARNINGS!). Trying to piss me off will not work in your favor, and will not help your comments survive reverts from apparently numerous other editors. It will only make me cranky, and will land you an administrative report, which I am filing out right now. -- xompanthy 21:54, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
One more thing... I never denied Croatian war crimes. And the only reason why YOUR generals are not in the Hague is because Radovan Karadžić and Ratko Mladić, two of the greatest mass murderers in the last 50 years have not been caught yet. Oh, and Slobodan Milošević died while on trial. I forgot that. As you can clearly see, the article (and this is the consensus) states that there were refugees on both sides. It doesn't even say (and the facts support this) the ratio of non-Serb refugees (Croatians, Bosniaks, etc.) to Serb refugees is like 50:1. It doesn't. 'Cause it really doesn't matter, in my view. Both sides did horrible things. Please take note, I am not denying this. Hell, my father is Serbian. So what in all honesty is your problem man? Are you saying there were NO non-Serbian refugees? That the Serbs were the ONLY people who lost their homes? 'Cause if you are, we really have nothing else to talk about. You might as well call Earth a ping-pong ball while you're on a roll. -- xompanthy 22:13, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh for the love of God... I never said that I don't care about the crimes. I meant I didn't care about the article mentioning the 50:1 ratio. Of course I care about the crimes, let's not get ridiculous here. And Thompson, he caters to a minority in Croatia. I don't listen to him, I don't like his songs. Never had an album, never will. I believe he's an asshole exploiting naive and stupid people, of which there are too many in both Croatia and Serbia. This discussion has all the potential to draw out into a 'we did this, but you did that too', so we might as well end it now. The whole point (that seems to have been lost along the way) is that you shouldn't insert into articles material that YOU would like to see there. The material needs to be NEUTRAL and UNBIASED. That's the point of wikipedia. And saying the Serbs were the refugees without mentioning the vast majority of others is NOT neutral. That's why I reverted your edit, and that's why other editors reverted it later on too. I, for instance, would like nothing more than to write 'Nikola Tesla is Croatian' in the Nikola Tesla article, but I'm not doing that, 'cause it's not neutral (or entirely true either). You see, Wikipedia is neither your's nor mine, so your and mine opinions have no place here.
That's pretty much it. I consider this matter closed. I hope in the future, you will reconsider your edits in view of NPOV policy before committing them. -- xompanthy 17:05, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

POV in Serbia?[edit]

First of all, if you'd looked at my user page, you would have seen that I don't know Serbian, so I have no idea what your last line says. Second, uh... When did fixing spelling errors become POV? I have absolutely no idea what you're referring to. Not to mention that it looks very much like you just copied that comment directly from here to my page, so I'm rather at a loss as to what it is that you're accusing me of, or why. Care to clarify? -Bbik 00:09, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, at least that explains why you put the comment there, but I think you may have left it for the wrong person. I haven't written anything in that article, because I don't know nearly enough to contribute. The most I've done it fix obvious spelling errors and revert obvious vandalism and gibberish (No, I'm not considering what people add in Serbian to be gibberish, though I do tend to revert that as well, simply because this is the English Wikipedia.). This also means that in many cases, I haven't reverted things and instead leave it for someone else to revert later, because I don't know whether the additions/subtractions were done correctly or not. -Bbik 00:33, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Happy Easter to you, too :) -Bbik 19:24, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Cardusan.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Cardusan.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:07, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding this edit of yours:

  1. Calling vandals editors who edit in good faith is considered very rude.
  2. As I explained in the edit summary, and Bbik elaborated here:
    1. You cannot use non-free images such as coats of arms in the context other than the city's article
    2. The column with municipality name is redundant (and ugly)
  3. Finally, If you don't want your material to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it.

Where, for that matter, it also is requested for deletion. Also, don't use words like vandalism when it obviously wasn't. Garion96 (talk) 08:19, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Raketa alas 010707.gif, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Raketa alas 010707.gif is a duplicate of an already existing article, category or image.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:Raketa alas 010707.gif, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Egypt air and accusation[edit]

Their official web site does not show that they are planning flights to Belgrade. If you can provide a source then I will be glad to put EgyptAir back on the list. Here type in Cairo - Belgrade and see what you get http://www.egyptair.com.eg/English/IBE/FlightSchedule.aspx. Also Amadeus reservation system has not put these flights in any schedule. I don’t see how that is vandalism especially since I have helped to develop most of Serbia’s aviation articles on Wikipedia (among many others) and I’m not the one that deletes things for no good reason.

Hello Bg007!

I transferred this image to Wikimedia Commons. The article about the GIRAFFE-System of the german Wikipedia needed it. If you are not content with my upload (perhaps you want its deletion), please let me know and contact me on my german user-discussionpage (Benutzer:High Contrast). Nonsense[edit]

What is this nonsense you've been spreading around the Wikipedia about Ceda, Korac and others??? --PaxEquilibrium (talk) 00:55, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, what are your sources?
Secondly, what is the second sentence supposed to mean? PaxEquilibrium (talk) 21:00, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Šešelj is a Croatian name too, does that mean that the Serb Radicals are being led by a Croat? Oh, and how come is Mršić a Croatian surname? I don't know it - therefore, it's not everybody.
You haven't explained why you think his father is of Romany ethnicity.
Speaking about names, does Žarko Korać sound Jewish to you? Here's a Serbian Jew: Leon Cohen. That's a Jewish name.
And lastly, what facts precisely did I delete? And I cannot understand how could this relate to my support of their political opinions, I'm just defending the Wikipedia. --PaxEquilibrium (talk) 18:53, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Even if that's true - yes, of course I want that...I mean really, what's the significance of that?!?
Ljubomir Mršić, father Marjan, Serbian Orthodox, born 1939, killed by the Ustashi in the WWII Holocaust in 1942 while still a kid in the Stara Gradiška extermination camp. Satisfied?
BTW, Find me at least one Šešelj that doesn't declare himself Croat. :)) I have around 20 Croatian politicians (just politicians) with that name (all ethnic Croats), and a loads more others - no Serb. :)
Ceda said he's Serb, even in the pre-electoral presidential campaign.
Here again I am convinced of your lack of knowledge of Serbian last names. Jovanovic and Nikolic are most common Serb surnames. What is the name of Zarko's mother? --PaxEquilibrium (talk) 00:09, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And, your response? :) --PaxEquilibrium (talk) 16:37, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is not nonsense[edit]

Facts about Ceda,Korac and others are maybe nonsense for you ,but not for others.Let us write facts.Your political opinion is totally irrelevant for wikipedia. You can ask for every wrote sentence in Wikipedia for sources. The fact about Ceda is that his mother maiden name is Mrsic.Everybody knows that Mrsic is Croatian last name, that is fact.Even croatian famous basketball player has same last name.About Korac I will put sources. Secondly, you deleted some facts ,because you don't like that facts,or you want to hide. That means that you are not objective and means that you support their political opinions. Yeah, you want to relativise fact that Mrsic is croatian last name.Find me only one Mrsic who declare that is Serb, and I will accept your point.I didn't find anyone,so far,...Mrsic Zvonimir -Member of croatian parlament,Damir Mrsic - basketball pl.,Veljko Mrsic - basketball player from Capljina,Stanko Mrsic -player NK Osijek,...I never heard that Ceda declared himself as Serb.Jovanovic is most common Orthodox Roma last name. Korac is last name from Krajina, but his mother was Jew.Publicly,as 'former' comunist,he declare himself as atheist. Here is the independent proof ,not acusation or propaganda http://www.internetjournalofcriminology.com/Anti-Semitism%20and%20the%20Christian%20Right%20in%20post-Milosevic%20Serbia.pdf

Altering sources for POV reasons[edit]

Please do not alter quotes from sources for POV reasons, as you did with this edit to Borovo Selo killings. I see from your contributions that you have also made a number of unsourced and often very partisan edits to other articles, including Croats, Behind Enemy Lines (film)‎, Eurasian Avars etc. Please stop doing this or you will be blocked. -- ChrisO (talk) 09:10, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Respond[edit]

It's a Hollywood film, of course it's stupid - it's made for Americans after all. :-) As for the Avar things, please bear in mind that Wikipedia is a source-based encyclopedia - we don't allow original research, unsourced content or content that's based on unreliable or unverifiable sources. If you add anything to an article, please make sure that it's based on a reliable source that you can cite. Take a look at how I've done it in Glina massacre for an example. -- ChrisO (talk) 08:48, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok,next time when I write something I will put sources especially for sensitive stuff. You wrote very good ,the article is excelent now.Thank you for updating.Sorry about some comments. Cheers Bg007

Under your radar[edit]

I see you have made good edits at Battle of Kosovo, but if you look closely at recent edit history of the page, you will see that User:Zakipfc has extensively vandalized the page, apparently without you or most other contributors realizing it. It is not the most blatant form of vandalism, is why you missed it, but if you look at the most recent diffs [3] involving Zakipfc's edits, I think you'll see what I mean. I'm notifying you because you and another editor have edited the page since Zakipfc, and undoing his vandalism would also erase your edits. 69.149.164.249 (talk) 14:53, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How dare you accuse me of being anti-Serbian![edit]

I am not anti-Serbian, I am not "anti-anybody". I have known a number of Serbs, including my high school accounting teacher named Mr. Pasic who was a good person. So don't you dare call me "anti-Serbian". I am neutral on the Yugoslav issues, people like you have in turn have accused me of being either "pro-Serb" "anti-Croatian" or "anti-Albanian. It's because I deny accepting nationalist rhetoric from any nation in the Balkans. If you ever post another insult or attack on my talk page again, I will report you for harassment.--R-41 (talk) 14:35, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Reporting you for uncivil behaviour[edit]

I have told you that I am no "anti-Serbian". I have known a number of Serbs, I was a friend of my high school accounting teacher who was a Serb. You have claimed that I am somehow "denying" the atrocious crimes of the Ustase. I am fully aware that the Ustase committed genocide that killed hundreds of thousands of Serbs. However because you still continue to accuse me of being "anti-Serbian" and accusing me of "minimizing" Ustase crimes, I am reporting you for uncivil behaviour.--R-41 (talk) 01:49, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Serbia - Sport[edit]

[[User:Ostalocutanje|Ostalocutanje]

Ja lično sam napravio desetine članaka o srpskim rok muzičarima, bendovima i albumima...

Hi Bg007, I would like you, when you have a few moments, to read WP:NPOV. This will greatly help you in your editing. Very seriously, following notifications here and here, I would advise you in the strongest possible terms that nationalist editing in Balkans-related articles is not allowed. It has led to various editors being blocked indefinitely. Please read Wikipedia:ARBMAC#Final_decision closely - I notice your name is already on the list. Please make sure that you discuss controversial edits at talk before you make them. If you don't, well, you know what the outcome will be. AlasdairGreen27 (talk) 23:03, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
