ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open! =

Scale of justice 2.svg Hello, Bojo1498. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

don't be so harsh =

I checked the news and Castro was not dead. Since then, I see he is Samswik (talk) 05:59, 26 November 2016 (UTC)

If you didn't have a history of apparent disruptive edits, I wouldn't have said anything. I'm not trying to be harsh, it's just that you have a history of disruptive edits, and that doesn't further the goal of the encyclopedia. If you hadn't deleted everything from your user talk page (something that, while not against the rules, is discouraged, in favor of archiving), I'd have been willing to remove my message from it, giving you the benefit of the doubt. Hope to see you further the encyclopedia in the future! --bojo1498 talk 16:22, 26 November 2016 (UTC)

There is no refrence to that the pathan word that is mentioned so thats why i removed .[edit]

It is good if there is reference to that word . I request if you could remove it unless somebody puts a reference to his ethnicity. Thankyou

In the article imrankhan(actor)

Then I'd encourage you to make the edit again, but this time mention in the edit summary why you are removing the content (in this case because it is unsourced). Also, I'd encourage you to remember to sign your posts!. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! --hwalk | talk | contribs 06:16, 25 December 2016 (UTC)

Thankyou for your guidance . I changed it and explained the reason in the edit summary.Utom1987 (talk) 06:38, 25 December 2016 (UTC)

Re: Spinnin' Records Edit[edit]

Hello Bojo

The reason why i undid your removal of Porter Robinson is because he is indeed once in the label before (now no more). As you notice, his name lies under the "Past" section. Since he no longer associates with Spinnin, its reasonable why his wiki article did not mention the label (since its already been 3 years he had left). I did some research to confirm if he actually had songs released under Spinnin Records, through their youtube channel. Turns out he has 1 with a collaboration with Mat Zo, called "Easy". Even though its just 1 song, its still considered as him once signed in the label. I hope this clarify your doubt on why i undid your edit. Anyways i wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year ahead! — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheCorrectorr (talkcontribs) 08:07, 25 December 2016 (UTC)

Hey there. I understand what you are saying, it is just very important to make sure you have reliable sources to back up changes that you make. In the future, I'd encourage you to mention sources for any changes you make to factual information. Also, I'd encourage you to remember to sign your posts!. Merry Christmas and happy editing! --hwalk | talk | contribs 18:23, 25 December 2016 (UTC)

Multani dialect[edit]

Multani is other name of saraiki.

Hey there. As you may have noticed, the reason I reverted your edit is because you did not cite a source. I'm not debating accuracy here. I see you have provided a link here, however I wouldn't consider quora a reliable source, since it is open to anyone to add answers to, and the answer you linked to provided no sources for the information. For all I know, that was you answering that question. If you can find a reliable source, I'd encourage you to add the information along with that source. Let me know if you have any other questions! Happy holidays (if you celebrate any of those around this time)! --hwalk | talk | contribs 18:19, 25 December 2016 (UTC)
Also, I'd encourage you to remember to sign your posts!. --hwalk | talk | contribs 18:20, 25 December 2016 (UTC)

Pending changes[edit]

I don't understand why you accepted this edit. The citation doesn't mention Horowitz. It appears the IPs have a WP:COI, puffing up Horowitz. Toddst1 (talk) 15:22, 28 December 2016 (UTC)

That is my bad. I did not look closely enough at the linked article. Thanks for noticing and fixing that! --hwalk | talk | contribs 15:25, 28 December 2016 (UTC)

Easy on the warnings[edit]

I just took a look at a half dozen or so recent warnings you've given out recently and I think you should lay off them. this edit is not vandalism by any stretch of the imagination. I also left a note for you on User talk:Lon Watkins ‎ about your inappropriate warning there. I'm not going through the rest of your edits but these warnings are bordering on harassment of well-intending editors and show no WP:AGF. I emplore you to throw a few fewer stones and perhaps focus on a different aspect of editing. Toddst1 (talk) 15:33, 28 December 2016 (UTC)

Hey there. I appreciate your input. On the edit you linked, I left a notice about the edit not being constructive, not calling it vandalism. There is a very important distinction. And you may notice a lot of my notices are about adding unsourced material, which happens a lot and needs to not happen. I left you a response on User talk: Lon Watkins. I want people to know that their edits are being reverted and why they are. I respect your opinion, and I will take it into consideration when I am warning people. --hwalk | talk | contribs 15:42, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply. I appreciate your enthusiasm and willingness to take feedback. However, the template you used on the IP was {{uw-disruptive1}}. Clearly, that was not disruptive editing. There are plenty of miscreants and vandals around and these guys aren't among them. Please be kinder to the folks trying to contribute and recognize what they're trying to do, whether or not they have all the details in perfect order. Instead of templating them with a warning, try leaving a kind note pointing them to the way to improve their work. Toddst1 (talk) 16:00, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
I will definitely be more selective with the templates that I use, and I'll try to leave kinder notes. Thanks for the feedback! --hwalk | talk | contribs 16:05, 28 December 2016 (UTC)

January 2017[edit]

Hi Bojo, You removed the finisher because you feel it doesn't count because it dint count so why don't you go to the page of evolution and removed the finisher triple powerbomb because it's the same case as lana only because they used it once or twice it dosent as their finisher. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.77.215.32 (talk) 23:24, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

Hey there. I am far from an expert on wrestling, but I do know a little bit, which is why I reverted your addition. I'd encourage you to be bold and fix the other article if you feel like it should be removed. Just make sure you back up your changes with a reason in the edit summary. I'd also encourage you to look at the Talk page guidelines and put your new talk page sections at the bottom of pages and sign your posts. Let me know if you have any questions. Happy editing! --hwalk | talk | contribs 23:34, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

Then go to the page of evolution and remove the finisher of triple powerbomb. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.77.215.32 (talk) 15:57, 2 January 2017 (UTC)

Wow so you removed this one but not the one in evolution page which is the same argument you said just because you use a move once or twice dosent mean it's their finisher they only use the triple powerbomb twice — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.77.215.32 (talk) 14:42, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

As I said before, I encourage you to make the change yourself. I'm not interested in going around auditing the pages of wrestlers to see how many times they've used a specific move. You are more than welcome to do so, but I don't believe that is a good use of my time since my knowledge of wrestling is pretty limited. I feel my time is better spent monitoring the pages on my watchlist and reviewing pending changes. Also, please sign your posts! Happy editing! --hwalk | talk | contribs 18:27, 3 January 2017 (UTC)
Of course because you know I'm right so you don't want to admit that I'm right, so I'm gonna leave it here because I'm not gonna waste my time to fight with a person like you who has double standards with certain situations and dosent admit when a person is right so congratulations Bojo you prove my point. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.77.215.32 (talk) 19:25, 3 January 2017 (UTC)
I have no idea what "your point" is that I'm proving, exactly. If you disagreed with my initial reversion, then you should have said that instead of immediately telling me to edit another page. I generally operate under the principal that content already on a page is good (unless it is actively being disputed), so additions or removals need extra scrutiny. If you have an edit that is reverted, and you disagree, take it up on that page's talk page. That is where content disputes should happen. If your change is a good one, it will be backed up by other editors there. Hopefully this clarifies everything. If you still have any questions, feel free to ask me. --hwalk | talk | contribs 19:36, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

Kaabil Soundtrack was correctly updated why are you reverting back to the old version[edit]

Would love to see you doing some research before reverting

Hey there. I've yet to see anyone provide a source to support the addition. If you can provide a reliable source, feel more than free to add it. But please do not simply keep reverting my edits. This is edit warring. The onus is on the person adding content to provide a source, not for the person reviewing the edits to prove otherwise. --hwalk | talk | contribs 19:10, 2 January 2017 (UTC)

Production Companies[edit]

Why do you keep removing them? People added them cause they are part of the show. It's been aroumd for a very long time97.106.151.168 (talk) 17:53, 6 January 2017 (UTC)

Can you give me a diff that shows what you are talking about? More than likely, I reverted the addition of them because they didn't have a source backing up the addition. It's much more likely I reverted an addition rather than removing them. If you give me a diff, or at least tell me what page you are talking about, I can give you an explanation. Thanks and happy editing! --hwalk | talk | contribs 17:56, 6 January 2017 (UTC)
GoT and Channel Zero. There are production companies that were first shown and then somebody removed them.97.106.151.168 (talk) 22:17, 6 January 2017 (UTC)
Yeah. I just took a look at one of my edits, and it was as I was guessing. It was an unsourced addition. If you have a source to support that addition, you are more than welcome to add it back. --hwalk | talk | contribs 03:55, 7 January 2017 (UTC)

Reference problem[edit]

How do you add a reference for a change I made when there is not exactly a news article to reference but its clear on that company website.

For this article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rover's_Morning_Glory

I was adding under stations WZZR/Palm Beaches

Its clearly on their site and is true

71.145.231.31 (talk) 17:44, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

Hey there. I'd use http://wzzr.iheart.com/onair/ if anything, since it mentions it on the schedule. --bojo | talk | contribs 15:04, 11 January 2017 (UTC)

Mango[edit]

Please justify your sumamryy reversion of my edits on mango. Plantsurfer 19:11, 20 January 2017 (UTC)

@Plantsurfer sure. I reverted your edit because the article is summarizing mangoes. It isn't talking about a specific one (which "A mango" implies, whereas "The mango" does not). Happy editing! --bojo | talk | contribs 19:16, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
with respect you have the English grammar backwards. 'The' is the definite article, referring to a specific article. A is the indefinite article. Plantsurfer 19:20, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
@Plantsurfer:, I see what you are saying, but take a look at other articles such as Apple or Orange. They all start with "the". If you want to have a large, drawn-out linguistic debate, we could certainly do that, but let's just follow consensus instead ^-^. Happy editing!--bojo | talk | contribs 19:26, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
@Bojo1498: there is an important difference, which is that those articles both refer to single botanical species, whereas mangoes come from a number of species. There is therefore no "the" mango, and the first sentence of the lead itself acknowledges this. Plantsurfer 19:35, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
@Plantsurfer: My experience with botany is quite limited. I'd take it up on the talk page and discuss it with people there. --bojo | talk | contribs 19:37, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
