ANTOINE GABER- Contemporary Artist Photographer, Film Producer, Impressionist Painter[edit]

INTRODUCTION

In 1994, Gaber married his professional career in clinical research and his business acumen with his artistic expression by supporting several charity organizations internationally for the treatment of Cancer, HIV and Liver Diseases. In all his endeavours, Gaber has benefited from the extraordinary support from government officials and patronage of influential people. Gaber rapidly captured the media’s attention and is since extensively featured in the written press, radio and television in several Countries.

As a Canadian Contemporary Artist Photographer and Impressionist Painter, Antoine Gaber has earned his place among the most valued painters. Twice awarded by the President of the Biennale Internazionale dell’Arte Contemporanea, of Florence Italy, with the prestigious Prize of the “Lorenzo il Magnifico” for his artistic career.

Gaber launched in 2004 his International Program “Passion for Life” (Latin America, Europe, Canada) for objective to increased cancer awareness and raised funds for research. Gaber brought art to life with “Passion for Life” and brought “Hope for life” to patients struggling with this disease.

Antoine was featured and listed in the reputable and well-established International Art Book “Who’s Who in International Art“, 2007 edition, regrouping the famous and new names in the arts of the 21st Century, extending Gaber’s International recognition within the art world. Gaber was selected, as one of the 152 artists chosen from 22 countries within 5 continents.

Gaber expanded his art as a Photographer and Digital Artist and created his internationally unique Digital Art Photography artworks technique of landscapes, floral, and architecture named “Evolutional Ribbonized Photography™” which is now manufactured and distributed across Canada and USA.

Gaber recently expanded his artistic talent as the Producer and Director his first provocative and inquisitive 99-minute feature documentary titled ” It’s all about ME”. This documentary examines the inflated sense of entitlement among youth in the Western World, its consequences and the solutions for a better future. Gaber won the Make a Difference Award (MADA) on social issues, at the COMMFFEST Global Community Film Festival in September 2013 and Best Documentary Award at The Daring Independent Film Festival in January 2014.

In 2017 Berta Taracena, famous Mexican Historian and Art Critic, honoured Gaber to become the first Canadian Artist ever, to join the prestigious artist group of the “MIRADA COLOSAL”. This elite group mostly composed of famous Mexican and some International illustrious artists that have shown during their artistic life a universal vision of the Arts demonstrating an authentic talent, and the ability to bring together and express a continuity of the art from the past to the Contemporary art of today, while also supporting important social causes.

Gaber continuously plays a role in the advancement of art and science. In an incessant desire for harmony, his artistic works, his humanitarian projects and his incommensurable dreams of communion with man and nature contribute in unison to the working of his straightforward mission: utilizing his talents to benefit a good cause. An increasing unique presence on the world’s artistic stage is indicative of the piercing vision that guides and shapes Gaber’s ever-evolving oeuvre.

March 2017 Gaber as the Art Director / Curator agreed to bring and showcase the work of International Artists inspired by the theme of water. Under the Patronage of the Mayor of Niagara Falls, and the Niagara Falls History Museum Gaber with his International network and collaborators are working closely in organizing, “ Water for Life” International Art Exhibition to be held from May 12 until September 9, 2018. The objective is to sensitize audiences to an important social and cultural issue that more than a billion individuals – one in seven people on the planet – now lack access to safe drinking water. February 2017 Under the patronage of the Mayor of Fort Erie, and collaboration of the Historic Bell Tower Community Arts & Entertainment Complex in Fort Erie, a new initiative was created; The Gaber & Bell Tower Artist Mentorship Program “Artist Discovery Exhibit”. March-July 2011 Antoine Gaber Artwork “ Titled” New Brunswick Seascape” was reproduced on spectacular large scale Publicity Panels and exhibited in the Metro Pino Suárez Line 1 and 2 in the Subway of Mexico City.
