February 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Clash of the Titans (2010 film), please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. — TAnthonyTalk 22:17, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. TheRealFennShysa (talk) 16:42, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tooth Fairy Plot Summary[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! Edits on Wikipedia of a bold, constructive nature are always encouraged, but several of your recent edits to the Tooth Fairy plot summary do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Excessive detail should be avoided when editing plot summaries, as well as a high word count (if you can say something in 700 words instead of 1000, that's the goal). Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to this plot summary. Thank you.

The Template:Plot tag description says it best; "The objective of a summary is to condense a large amount of information into a short, accessible format. It is not to reproduce the experience of reading or watching the story, nor to cover every detail. For those who have not read or seen the story, it should serve as a general overview of the major points. For those who have, it should be detailed enough to refresh their memory — no more". April 2010[edit]

Welcome and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page Template:Disney theatrical animated features worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox instead. Thank you. I have nominated List of characters from Beverly Hills Chihuahua, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of characters from Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Staxringold talkcontribs 15:33, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Men in Black III-D has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Topic fails WP:NFF -- hasn't commenced principal photography.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ɠǀɳ̩ςεΝɡbomb 04:50, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (film), without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Further edits of this type may result in your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. BLGM5 (talk) 13:55, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, one advice![edit]

Hi, good you want to help on wikipedia. Welcome!

I saw you did some linking of dates etc.

One tip for linking: Linking dates and other times is only sometimes useful. But it's better explained here: Wikipedia:Linking#Chronological_items

If you have any questions or need help with something - just leave a short note!

Best Regards,

I could not find an Articles for deletion discussion by the above name, which is why I removed it from the log page. This was for administrative purposes, not an opinion. If you want to delete the redirect page Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2, please see Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 05:27, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Spider-Man (film series). There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. Thank you.-5- (talk) 03:15, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

April 2012[edit]

Your recent editing history at List of highest-grossing films shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. June 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen (Cineplex) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization or adding links to its website.
  2. Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.

Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guidelines concerning editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.  TOW  talk  21:50, 9 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Spider-Man in film[edit]

STOP removing The Amazing Spider-Man (1977 film) from the film list and STOP adding the unreleased sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man (2012 film) to the list. If you do not stop this disruptive editing you will be blocked. Spidey104 19:18, 18 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
