Re. Image:A Thanksgiving Service Attended by Canadian Troops Being Held in the Cambrai Cathedral.jpg[edit]

I notice that Themepark has not yet had an opportunity to respond to you yet. In my opinion, this is an appropriate image for uploading to the Commons. It's public domain in Canada, and because it is a pre-1946 Canadian image, it is also public domain in the U.S. (the location of the Wikimedia servers). As long as the copyright status is explained, the source identified (Archives of Ontario), and the {{PD-Canada}} and {{PD-US}} tags used, it shouldn't be a problem. Theodore Hostetter[edit]

Hello. I just came across this picture of yours. I recently created Theodore R. Hostetter, an American heir and polo player, with different dates from the Lieutenant you mention. Would your Theodore Hostetter deserve his own page too? Are you interested in creating it? Please reply on my talkpage. Thank you.Zigzig20s (talk) 06:59, 5 November 2013 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for March 19[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Lowestoft, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Geld. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. I thought geld needed some sort of explanation or internal link, so I added it, then realized it pointed to a disambiguation page when I checked the edit. As I wasn't sure what meaning of geld applies here, I left it as it is if you think it's better. Feel free to remove it. Cheers - Camster (talk) 15:53, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
