Heroes Welcome[edit]

Hi there Captsen1. I wanted to leave you a note to see what your plans are for User:Captsen1/Heroes Welcome. I see that it has existed here since 2009, but you may not be aware that it is not an article. Because of the way you named it, nobody would find it from a search of the encyclopedia.

If you wish it to be considered as an encyclopedia article, you could cut and paste the content to Heroes Welcome. Before you do that though, you may wish to (1) make the language more neutral (WP:NPOV) and (2) see if you can find some references to it in the media (WP:RS). Regards, Syrthiss (talk) 15:58, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation[edit]

I noticed your submission in Articles for creation, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Heroes Welcome UK. Thanks! It will be reviewed by a volunteer soon.

Before it can be added to Wikipedia, your submission should have references. All articles on Wikipedia should have inline, numbered references after facts, showing the 'reliable source' (a newspaper, book, etc.) where the information can be checked, so that all information is verifiable.

Here's a video tutorial - hit play, then right-click for "full screen".

Here's an example of how to add references:

Chzz is 98 years old.<ref> "The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009. </ref>

He likes tea.<ref> Smith, John. "[http://foonews.com/Article42 Interview with Chzz]", Foo News, 1 April 2010. Retrieved 2011-05-22. </ref>

== References ==

{{reflist}}

That makes the references automatically display as small numbers[1] which will link to the details in the section titled == References == at the end. You can see that example in action here.

Please add references to your submission, which will be reviewed as soon as possible. See also, Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners. If you need any help, just put {{helpme}} at the end of this page, followed by a question or get into our live help chat chanel at #wikipedia-en-help connect.

This article needs to be edited for neutrality and clarity. At times the article doesn't seem particularly neutral to the subject (see WP:NPOV), which needs to be changed. You also need to replace many of the links because unfortunately you cannot use anything that has been released by the company itself as a source to prove notability. This means that you cannot use the official website or any of the articles it might have sent to the press for promotional purposes. (See WP:RS) Brief mentions in the paper or times where someone in the company is only quoted briefly does not count as a reliable source either. It must be something along the lines of an article that focuses solely on the actual society. Articles where the society is mentioned with many, many other businesses is not considered to be a reliable source either. Also, be aware that if someone famous within the company is in an article, the article must heavily mention the society. If the article is only about him and the society only gets a brief mention, it can't be used as a reliable source. Also be aware that if someone famous has talked about the society or participated in it, that notability does not automatically transfer to Heroes Welcome. Also, do not link to sources that do not mention the company at all. If the book turned movie is not about HW, it should not be mentioned in the article. I must also let you know that if you are linking to a specific article about the company, make sure that you get the full and correct address. The link to Yorkshire Life only goes to the website and does not mention HW at all. This does not count as a reliable source. Also, when incorporating articles from various sources in your article, it isn't necessary to quote each one word for word or to list each one out in its own section. You must try to avoid WP:QUOTEFARM. I highly recommend that you visit Wikipedia:WikiProject Organizations and get one of them to assist you in re-writing this article.
