Disambiguation link notification for February 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, Part II, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kate Walsh (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to The Glove (film) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

See WP:FILMPLOT: the recommended plot length is 400-700 words. Your version topped out at over twice that. Clarityfiend (talk) 23:30, 8 August 2014 (UTC)

January 2015[edit]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Skyline (film). There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. You have been told that WP:FILMPLOT requires 400-700 words. Please do not exceed the guideline again. Elizium23 (talk) 18:10, 1 January 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Leon Czolgosz's date of birth: REVISITED[edit]

Hi. On 6 May 2011, I posted the following question to your talk page, but it seems to have slipped through unnoticed. I'm still very keen to confirm this detail, so I'm posting it again. I'd appreciate your reply.

Thanks. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 21:37, 11 December 2015 (UTC)

Hello. In this edit back on July 8, 2010, you changed "May 1873" to the specific date May 5, 1873. The source did not change, so I'm wondering:
  • have you actually checked the source? If not, how do you know what it says?
  • if you have, can you explain why previous editors saw only "May 1873", not "May 5, 1873"?
Thank you. -- Jack of Oz [your turn] 12:18, 6 May 2011 (UTC)

Information.svg Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to the Welcome to the Dollhouse plot summary have been removed because they added a significant amount of unneeded detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 04:57, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
