Hello, I'm FlightTime Phone. Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Nothing Else Matters even if you provide a/some source(s), you'll still need to start a discussion on the article talk page to allow editors who regular watch that page a chance to discuss the reliability of the source(s) you provided. One reason is, genre sources can easily be considered an opinion and not fact. Genre's are a touchy subject here on Wikipedia and without discussion/consensus, regardless of your source(s), your addition or removal will most likely be reverted. Your edit has been reverted and archived in the page history for now.

Unsourced genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive.

Hmm, I did actually open a discussion on the talk page of Nothing Else Matters to come to an agreement on the genres. The one that's currently up can be interpreted as not being explicit, hence why I removed it and started the discussion. As for on Slaves & Bulldozers, it seemed a fairly agreeable and obvious genre addition, but I guess a discussion can be opened if seen as necessary. Sorry if my editing was seen as disruptive. Look man. I don't know what your problem is. I make constructive and sourced edits and you're threatening to get me banned. Since when did we have to discuss every edit we want to make beforehand on talk pages, because I don't recall such a thing. I'm all for keeping Wikipedia accurate, but this seems a bit much. I didn't even add genres on that page, I added content to the main paragraph. Are these messages being automatically sent? Also, on the Dead & Bloated all I did was remove an unsourced genre and add a source to another. Carnivore82 (talk) 18:58, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You're not an administrator, please don't threaten to block me. You know, there's no rule stating you have to discuss edits you make per WP:PLEASEDISCUSS, so therefore your actions are wrong. You're reverting sources edits for quite literally no reason. Please stop. I'm aware how Wikipedia works. I don't you need following my every move. I've edited on Wikipedia back in the day, around 2016-2017, but can't for the life of me recall my username. I tried to create this account a month ago or so, but couldn't because of some sockpuppet in my area called Diskyboy. I'm not appreciating this hostility on all fronts, or the need to follow my every move like you two seemingly are.
