Did not know, but like. Kafka Liz (talk) 02:44, 30 August 2015 (UTC)

Gone …[edit]

… for a few days to visit relatives. Thought I'd let you know, in case something comes up on the FAC that's languishing. Back early next week, so the world won't come to an end if neither of us is around this weekend (and the probability of comments is low). Anyway, hope all is well. Bst, Victoria (tk) 15:38, 7 August 2015 (UTC)

I see congradulations are in order! And thanks so much for all the help with Lochner. Ceoil (talk) 17:25, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for congrats & for all the help. You're welcome re Lochner; it's a lovely article and I enjoyed reading it. Victoria (tk) 15:30, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
I'm glad. Just got back from a week in Maine bty; great part of the world. We stayed in York, but drove up to Portland, which has a first class municipal art gallery (was introduced to Winslow Homer and Wyatt), and is a happening, hipster city without any trace of gentrification. Lots of homeless though. Spent a night in Salem MA, a town that is just brimming with charm. Found a shop selling 2nd hand VHS and cassettes. Bought a 1989 "Companion to Stephen King". Should've given me a call...Modernist (talk) 19:47, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
We didn't go to CT or NY; but will be there this Christmas. I would very much like to give you a call then, maybe visit the Met or the Cloisters, and discuss the finer points of Dylan. Ceoil (talk) 19:51, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
Give me a heads up...Modernist (talk) 19:53, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
It will be an honour. Ceoil (talk) 19:58, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
Will be in the States around Christmastime, and close to NY. Will ye be around? Kafka Liz (talk) 08:15, 29 August 2015 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Today's featured article/September 8, 2015[edit]

Thanks for your edits; they're good. I got turned around, though ... I was thinking this hadn't been through TFAR. It's fine. - Dank (push to talk) 17:29, 22 August 2015 (UTC)

Thanks Dan. It just need a little chopping down. Ceoil (talk) 22:10, 22 August 2015 (UTC)

Mixing it up[edit]

[1] Kafka Liz (talk) 08:12, 29 August 2015 (UTC)

Tks :). And for fixing my lousy english :) [2]. Here is a nice tune[3], also, the second one[4]. Ceoil (talk) 10:18, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
Second link reminds me of a most dread beast. Kafka Liz (talk) 13:08, 29 August 2015 (UTC)

Since when did you need reason to post here love. Ceoil (talk) 18:16, 29 August 2015 (UTC)

In that case...[7] Kafka Liz (talk) 19:55, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
Fun Pulp fact Liz - its rumoured that the girl who came from Greece and liked to do it in a supermarket, and had an inelixable attraction to Jarvis was based on none other than the wife of the recently disgraced and retired hard left / gambler Greek premier. Not a man I'd go halves on with a lottery ticket :) & no I wont be learning to spell anytime soon. Ceoil (talk) 22:05, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
So the degree in sculpture turned out to be useless? Kafka Liz (talk) 01:35, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
Way worse than that Liz. I'd spill the beans, but BLP forbids it. Ah, feck it: take your wildest dreams, multiply them by two and add...nudity! Word on the street is that he had sexual fantasies about his wife, which he carried out on the first sunday of each month, and didn't even take off his stockings. I can't see German tax payers letting this lie. Ceoil (talk) 17:51, 30 August 2015 (UTC)

Hiya. Hope all's well. Two quick things:

  1. Henrys image - Per my note on Commons Talk (and the file itself) it seems there's an error in the licence selected. If it's your image (to release to a Commons licence), then please do update. If not, then perhaps Commons isn't the place.
  2. Henrys article - I spent some time ensuring that the article moved closer to relevant guidelines. Addressing uncited commentary and editorial issues - so that some longstanding clean-up tags could be removed. It'd be disappointing to see similar issues (and tags) back. Cites for newer additions would be great.

Let me know if I can help with either. Guliolopez (talk) 23:03, 30 August 2015 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 31[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sir Henry's, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Fall (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
