Hard to go wrong with the Clash, ever, never mind with a classic. Yet on a slightly less grim note... [3] Kafka Liz (talk) 06:47, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
Hmm, very good and new to me. I'm going to admit my uncoolness and hickness here, but Cut the Crap is my favourite Clash album, and this was a major song back around 1986, when there were only two punk albums for sales in Cork, and we were surviving otherwise on Fall and Oi bootleg tapes. The album cover is still a classic. Ceoil (talk) 10:41, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
But, but... Surely you heard this, at least. Cork couldn't have been *that* far off. Kafka Liz (talk) 11:41, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

U.S 80s - 90s. As dour as you want, but reminds me of Winona Ryder for some reason. Whatever...oh wait. Ceoil (talk) 02:00, 17 January 2016 (UTC)
...birds, punk rock and games involving One-upmanship, surely there's a time and a place for discussions like this! CassiantoTalk 18:41, 17 January 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cut the Crap, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mick Jones (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

PR request[edit]

Hello Ceoil, a certain old thespian is currently waiting in the wings here for any comments or criticisms. I would be much appreciative for any thoughts offered, if you have the time. An invite to your lovely wife would also be much appreciated. Many thanks. CassiantoTalk 00:24, 23 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi Cassianto, will take a look. Ceoil (talk) 11:52, 23 January 2016 (UTC)
Your excellent copy edits have been warmly recieved my end, thank you. CassiantoTalk 16:02, 23 January 2016 (UTC)
I'm very impressed and interested. Ceoil (talk) 16:10, 23 January 2016 (UTC)

Christ lag in Todes Banden[edit]

Thank you for your improvements. This possibly flows better, but doesn't say the same thing. The function of viola and violin is different, that belongs in one sentence. The "while" makes no sense in relation to the tune. - Off to vacation with limited access, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:35, 23 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi Gerda. First off, I'm not precious about edits on others pages, so please dont worry. The while was intended to join two sentences that might have been stubby otherwise, but if any edit changes meaning, press revert. Vacation in January? How posh and hope its somewhere nice. War on painting[edit]

The image hunters are going crazy - see Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 January 31 and Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2016 January 29 [4]...Modernist (talk) 00:45, 31 January 2016 (UTC)

Hmmm. Again with this? I see you have, as usual, presented thoughtful arguments to deaf ears; let's see. Will digest before commenting. My first thoughts are, breath and count to ten. Also remember most of the really hard core guys end up long term blocked *for zeal* (and repetitive behaviour); this is what we have to deal with. Ceoil (talk) 00:52, 31 January 2016 (UTC)

Hello Ceoil. I saw that you have created the article Portrait of a Lady with a Squirrel and a Starling but it seems that it's the same topic as this article A Lady with a Squirrel and a Starling. Best regards --Shonagon (talk) 01:18, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
