Requesting page title change[edit]

I would like to start a discussion on the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Greater_Minnesota page, because, as far as i can tell, no one calls any part of Minnesota "greater". Is there some template i can use to call attention to that?

As far as I know, no, it's not possible to have a template to draw attention to things like that. However, there are plenty of other Wikipedians who check talk pages like that one every day, so don't worry about it goin unnoticed. If you have more questions, feel free to contact me on my talk page. TimV.B.{critic & speak} 19:20, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you can suggest renaming (called "moving") on the talk page. I don't think there is a template for suggestions to do so. The closest thing is Wikipedia:Template messages/Merging and splitting, which is for moving content to a pre-existing page.—WAvegetarian (talk) 19:22, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I couldn't have said it better myself :-). TimV.B.{critic & speak} 19:31, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Flagging for vandalism[edit]

{helpme} Can i flag articles that are being continually vandalised? Ive found a couple, and would hope there is some way to call attention that have 20-30 vandalism edits from unregistered users. On another note, is there somewhere i can do a search for these things? I try looking through the help files for wiki editing, but there is so much information there, its hard to read through. thanks for the help! Chaztheweird 06:10, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nubio 160 shows how to search the help/documentation namespace. For the vandalism, Wikipedia:Vandalism covers the basics. If you think a page should be semi-protected to ease a vandalism onslaught then you can ask for protection at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection.--Commander Keane 06:15, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

EndUN Userbox[edit]

Hi, until recently you displayed my EndUN userbox on your user page--I'm glad you liked it. What you may not realize is that on June 29, User:Dmcdevit edited your user page and replaced the code with code more to his her/his liking. Among other things, this action partially and selectively depopulated Category:Wikipedians interested in the United Nations--most likely removing your user name from the category.

I'm disputing the actions of Dmcdevit at Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Log/2007_July_1#User:DieWeisseRose.2FUserboxes.2FEndUN. So, please consider having a look and joining in the discussion. In the meantime, if you want to put my original userbox code back on your user page then here it is: {{User:DieWeisseRose/Userboxes/EndUN}} Cheers. --DieWeisseRose 03:43, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
