File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:EdisonSlip1903backside.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 14:45, 31 October 2009 (UTC). Hi, obviously I don't know the circumstances of your comment on User talk:93.56.243.230, however I thought I would bring this up, I apologise if I've misread the situation. It concerns your comment: "not acceptable to erase text from ANY talk page without strong reasons." WP:TPO states "Simply deleting others' comments on your talk page is permitted, but most editors prefer archiving." As this is the opposite to what you wrote on the talk page, and I am correct about circumstances, I think it would be best for you to let the IP user know, and withdraw your comment. This also means that when you were undoing 93.56.243.230's removals, you were acting in contravention of WP:TPG. So I very much encourage you to leave a message for 93.56.243.230 and apologise for your actions. Particularly since 93.56.243.230's removal occurred a month before you went back to the page and undid the removal even though the user hadn't edited in that time. Not a day without that you learn something new! I just assumed that the rules for talk pages were global, and commented as I would have, had it been a Swedish language talk page (as I am a Swedish user). And on those, it is not acceptable to erase comments, own or others. (See and autotranslate http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Diskussionssidor#Radera_inte if you wish). Thank you for apologising, and I've added a welcome to the page. Yeah I've noticed with a few people that the English Wikipedia's rules are quite different to the other projects. The other thing I wanted to bring up (and since you were acting to what you thought was a policy breach, it's not as bad), but going back in a month after the incident (especially since the user hadn't made any edits in that month) could be construed as punitive or vindictive (to use the harsh words); so make sure you're careful with that (even if it was in contravention of policy it's better just to leave it).
