Meg White[edit]

Hi. I removed what you added to the Meg White article. The article doesn't need to consider the opinions of no-one in particular and it's not enough to say she is "often criticised". Who criticises her playing? Why are their opinions notable? Can you cite them? Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 19:03, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Almost forgot; you also can't decide that someone has "effectively retired" because you personally have not heard much from them. That counts as your opinion. I don't know what White is doing, or what she intends doing in future, but it can only be said that White has retired from the industry if White herself has said so. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 19:09, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
Fair enough. --ChristianJosephAllbee (Talk) 15:15, 29 June 2013 (CDT)

"Minor" edits[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you are in the habit of marking all of your edits as "minor". This designation is really only for completely uncontroversial and small edits, like adding a missing period to a sentence. Things that no one would care about. Some people have their watchlist set up to omit "minor" edits for this reason. If you are making any kind of material change to an article that someone might want to review, please do not mark it as minor. Thanks! --Spike Wilbury (talk) 16:19, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

March 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Caper454. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Geezer Butler, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Caper454 (talk) 15:16, 20 March 2015 (UTC)

re: Geezer Butler playing keyboards[edit]

Per guidelines:

Instruments listed in the infobox should be limited to only those that the artist is primarily known for using. The instruments infobox parameter is not intended as a WP:COATRACK for every instrument the subject has ever used.

March 2016[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Avril Lavigne. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. 4TheWynne(talk)(contribs) 08:35, 10 March 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 20[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Resurrection (New Found Glory album), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages David Wood and Matt Pryor (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

May 2016[edit]

Information icon Greetings. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Untitled tenth Metallica studio album, did not appear to be constructive and has been or will be reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make some test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. 4TheWynne(talk)(contribs) 03:02, 6 May 2016 (UTC)

June 2016[edit]

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. 4TheWynne(talk)(contribs) 01:45, 5 June 2016 (UTC)

August 2016[edit]

Information icon Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Space Jam. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Diff: [1] Summaries of critical response need to be supported by direct attribution to reliable sources. Additionally the WikiProject Film community is averse to "mixed to _____" language, since none of the usual critical response aggregators like Metacritic or Rotten Tomatoes use this phrasing. The "mixed to ____" typically represents synthesis, i.e. the combination of two different pieces of information to arrive at a conclusion not expressly stated by either of the two sources. Thanks.
