Hateful User

[edit]

I was wondering whether WP:ANI was the right place to report that user, because this was not an urgent problem, but I now see that it was a chronic, intractable behavioral problem. Thanks for reporting. Robert McClenon (talk) 03:04, 31 March 2026 (UTC)[reply]

A cupcake for you!

Requested move/dated template

[edit]

Your usage of this template at User:Chrs/sandbox is throwing an error (malformed request) on the Wikipedia:Requested moves/Current discussions page. Please adjust your sandbox to not include the Requested move/dated template. Thank you for your attention to this! P.I. Ellsworth , ed. – welcome! – 02:49, 22 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

@Paine Ellsworth: I'm aware, I'm using the template (alongside its sandbox) to do a side-by-side comparison for Template talk:Requested move#Protection icon. I'll be clearing the sandbox as soon as that resolves (n.b. if this is actually getting in the way of anyone's workflow, I can figure something out before then). chrs [talk] 05:00, 22 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much, editor Chrs, for your response and for your work to improve templates! I see no immediate threat to anyone's workflow, and hopefully other editors who come across the list of malformed requests will see this conversation. If they have no workflow problems with your sandbox, then I see no reason why your experiment can't continue. Thanks again! P.I. Ellsworth , ed. – welcome! – 06:41, 22 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

You may be eligible to vote in the U4C election

[edit]

I am contacting you because you previously voted in elections related to the Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C). You may be eligible to vote in the current U4C election, which is open now and closes on 2 June 2026. You can find out more about the candidates and the election on the election page on Meta, and from there you can access the vote itself. Your participation in these elections is important to the governance of Wikimedia communities, and your time spent learning about the candidates and voting is appreciated.
