Club articles

I've noticed that you've created a spate of one-sentence articles about private clubs. Unfortunately, these are far too short to be useful, and will probably be deleted for lacking content. If so and you wish to re-create them, by all means do so, but add some minimal amount of useful content, at least enough so that a reader gets more information than when they started (presumably, someone is looking up the title for a reason). I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Queensland Club, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Okay, thanks for expanding the article so it actually had some assertion of the subject's importance, but I noticed you copy-pasted most of the text directly from http://www.adb.online.anu.edu.au/biogs/A070144b.htm , which I note from the comments on this page you have been asked before not to do. While it's great that you want to contribute to Wikipedia, you cannot keep pasting copyrighted text into articles, even stuff that's freely available on public websites, because this is a copyright violation. Link to those websites in the article references, refer to them when writing the article, but the article must be written in your own words.
