Editathon work[edit]

Hi SounderBruce, I see that you signed up for the UW editathon(s) and probably contributed while there. I've been trying to track as much of the resulting work as possible to gauge the success of the editathon and surrounding announcements. Would you mind adding tags to any articles that came out of that work, or if you prefer, tell me what you worked on and I will tag them? You can use {{UWRCWikiLab 8}} for the last event, for instance. Thanks! - Brianhe (talk) 09:48, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. for your welcome message. I see I should have disclosed that I am a librarian with the Washington State Department of Transportation before editing. That's now on my user page. Please forgive me. Apoultra (talk) 18:00, 25 November 2015 (UTC)

@Apoultra: It's alright, seeing as you're not here for nefarious reasons. Feel free to ask me any questions you have. SounderBruce 19:41, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
