Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Lemn Sissay, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Lucy Parsons

The edit you just made to the article introduces an inaccuracy. Her ethnicity is not "disputed". She perpetuated a falsehood about her background during her lifetime (no judgment - she wasn't exactly operating in a racially-friendly environment), but recent research shows she was half-black, the daughter of an enslaved black woman. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 15:53, 21 December 2019 (UTC)

Hello, and thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia! However, you should know that it is not a good idea to remove citations or information sourced through citations simply because a link to a source is not working, as you did to Tillie Klimek. Dead links should not be deleted. Instead, please repair or replace the link, if possible, and ensure properly sourced information is retained. Often, a live substitute link can be found. Links not used as references, notes or citations are not as important, such as those listed in the "External links" or "Further reading" sections, but bad links in those sections should also be fixed if possible.
