Ways to improve Florida Defenders of the Environment

[edit]

Hi, I'm John from Idegon. Cratonicman, thanks for creating Florida Defenders of the Environment!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Hi. I just reviewed your recently created page. As it stands now it probably won't survive. Wikipedia is not a directory where any organization or business can be listed. It is not social media where any person or entity can have a "page". Instead Wikipedia is an encyclopedia which covers subjects that meet our notability guidelines. You'll need to show that this organization has been the subject of detailed discussion in multiple reliable sources. If you or someone else has not done that in a week, the article will be deleted. Thanks.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

The article Florida Defenders of the Environment has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Notability unsourced

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
