Proposed deletion of Julie Homi[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Julie Homi has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

References do not mention the subject!, also doesn't appear to meet WP:NBIO.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Disambiguation link notification for April 22[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Judith Hill, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Prayer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Nice work[edit]

Great work on Morris Pleasures article Cricket02

Poekneegurl```` — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.167.80.8 (talk) 00:10, 20 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi Cricket02,

Thanks for the message you left me the other week regarding the wiki page I am writing for Morris Pleasure. As you can probably tell, I am new to wiki editing, so I wanted to ask you if you could possibly help me with a few things here and there.

In particular, I am having a little trouble figuring out how to get pictures up. I realize the issue hinges on having the proper tags to clear any rights issues. Secondly, I can use a little coaching on how to properly do and format citations and references.

You can also probably tell I am a fan of Morris Pleasure (AKA Mo). He played with Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Earth Wind and FIre, Ray Charles, etc. And now in addition to his musical endeavors he is a co founder of We R 1 Voice which is a youth voice focused non profit.

If you can help me out, I would be most sincerely grateful.

Best regards,

Lloyd Nilsen — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lloyd.nilsen (talkcontribs) 15:35, 23 May 2014 (UTC)

Rufus (band) article[edit]

Good day Cricket.. hope you are well. Because I trust your judgment. .I have a question. I've done some work on the Rufus article. I noticed today someone edited it inserting information about another artist CONTINUE I ON to artist..but who is not a member of the group. THIS artist has his own wiki article where the same information is...as well as his name and credit is on the song "Once you get started..once again with the same information...that is repeated ver betim on EACH PAGE. Shouldn't there just be a reference to the song writer on the Rufus page and not all the repeated info. And whoever edited it..the pushed off the credit for the song Sweet Thing which was written by Khan and Maiden...group members...so it looks insignificant to the success of the group... the contribution is by unknown party and I do not wish to get into any battle..but it looks like someone just trying to get credit everywhere and even looks like an attempt to make that person as much a part of the group and like THEY WERE THE ONE that made Khan and Rufus famous...and kinda down playing the group who made the artist lyricists work hit the charts.. please read give me feed back on my assessment. Thank you.hope ur well.

Proposed deletion of A Thousand Summers[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article A Thousand Summers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No references, no claim of notability, fails WP:NSONG and WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Charlie Adams (drummer)[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Charlie Adams (drummer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.worldofquotes.com/author/Charlie+Adams/1/index.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 333-blue 13:22, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
