Disambiguation link notification for January 7[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 1885–86 St. Mary's Y.M.A. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page River Itchen(check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read theFAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Latest changes to Southampton season article[edit]

Hey bro, can I direct your attention to a section I've just made on the talk page for 2012–13 Southampton F.C. season please? Cheers :) Andre666 (talk) 10:38, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

Mauricio Pochettino[edit]

Hi there DK, AL here,

regarding this manager's article, please leave the competition wikilinks in honours as they were (example 1999–2000 Copa del Rey, not2000 Copa del Rey Final), a competition is much much more then the final. The wikilink of the final is however, quite useful in the storyline, as we can say "Raúl Tamudo scored a goal in the final to help Espanyol win the tournament" for example.

I agree with you when you say to User:Arbero we don't need the (1) and the (2) before the actual honours. But i'll add i don't think there is any need to overlink the clubs in said section. I'm also involving him in the discussion to see what he has to say.

Regarding your doubts about the Argentina competitions (or so it seems per one of your summaries), it cannot be "1991/92 Clausura" because the season in the country is divided into APERTURA (i.e. in 1991) and CLAUSURA (in 1992), so the honour won by Pochettino was the 1992 CLAUSURA. I agree with Arbero when he says we don't need the WINNERS or CHAMPIONS, it's obvious, when you don't add RUNNER-UP or THIRD-PLACE for FIFA World Cup or Copa América competitions, it's implied methinks.

Keep up the good work, from Portugal - --AL (talk) 23:45, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

Article Feedback deployment[edit]

Hey Daemonic Kangaroo; I'm dropping you this note because you've used the article feedback tool in the last month or so. On Thursday and Friday the tool will be down for a major deployment; it should be up by Saturday, failing anything going wrong, and by Monday if something does :). Thanks, Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 21:49, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

New Palace Theatre[edit]

That's an excellent article. Well done. The shield definitely displays the city's coat of arms. It has the Cross of St Andrew and the four turrets which overlooked the Barbican. The plaques can be seenhere, quite splendid. The council should be ashamed that such a magnificent building has been left to rot. Our owner should regenerate it really. His company boughtthis mansion and as part ofthis deal we'll probably have a new grandstand by 2015. Maybe I should write to him! Argyle 4 Lifetalk 19:31, 16 March 2013 (UTC)

Red link cats[edit]

Thanks for taking on some of these. Just one request - can you check the name of the club article to make sure that the categories align with the article? So eg the club article at Prayag United S.C. should give a club category of Category:Prayag United S.C. which then acts as a container for Category:Prayag United S.C. managers rather than Category:Prayag United SC managers (and ultimately cats for players, seasons etc). I know it makes a tedious job even more fiddly, but it's less work in the long run. Creating the club category at the same time (and then assigning the club article to that club cat) means that you end up doing the check anyway. Having seen how freely the footy people use redirects for club names I'm not sure how useful it is to know that the club article name is a blue link, but at least I've now cleaned up the players list to get rid of almost all the red links. Keep up the good work....Le Deluge (talk) 13:25, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
