Speedy deletion nomination of SlideDog[edit]

A tag has been placed on SlideDog, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Using phrases like "lets users seamlessly blend..." raises red flags. When an article consist largely of a "features" section, they tend to be promotional. Excessive links to commercial web sites and web site that promote a product or a company are also problematic. Please see WP:ADVERT for more information. The existence of other similar articles is not a (valid) reason for keeping another article (see WP:OTHERSTUFF).

Also, it's very unlikely that such a new software product is notable. Please review WP:NOTABILITY and WP:RS. - Mr X 14:01, 5 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
