The St George infobox

Excuse me, half a year ago I moved this infobox to the SIR section, because it belongs to the railway only, not to the whole terminal. Do you think it was wrong? Vcohen (talk) 13:46, 1 July 2012 (UTC)

Suffolk County merges

Ok, its been almost 2 years since these were proposed. What do you want to do, you merge all but 94, 46, 104, 105 and 97 into their respective lists or should I do it? All I want is these articles that have been merge tagged since August 2010. I'm leaving the open option. Mitch32(There is a destiny that makes us... family.) 22:46, 3 July 2012 (UTC)

A lot of them aren't tagged to be merged anymore. I'm willing to merge 11, 21, 50, 98(Not into NY 27A, though), and 99. I'm a little concerned over 16 and 93, but I still think 48 and 83 should be kept along with the others on the list. ----DanTD (talk) 00:22, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
17 also exists. 48 I can understand. 83 needs to be questioned due to poor sourcing and the fact this is all just about the CR, no proposed parkways, expressway, or former state route. Mitch32(There is a destiny that makes us... family.) 04:08, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
83 was originally proposed as a limited-access highway, at least north of Granny Road. I thought 17 was merged already, but I guess I was wrong. If it is merged, I don't want it to be merged to NY 111. I'd rather have it merged into the SCR 1-25 list. 99 was also proposed as a limited-access highway as well, but all the info proving it is somewhere in the libraries of Long Island, which I have no access to from Florida. I know the eastbound rest area between Exits 51 & 52 on the LIE used to have a map of Long Island showing Woodside Avenue extending to Yaphank Avenue, even though it only goes as far as Horse Block Road. I also saw another copy of the same map elsewhere up there, but I have no idea who publihsed it. Plus the stub at Patchogue-Holbrook Road indicates plans for a western extension as well. Still I'd be okay with merging this road. ----DanTD (talk) 04:31, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
Eh, I'm still not convinced on 83. Go ahead and kill of 11, 16, 21, 50, 98, 99, 17 and 111. Mitch32(There is a destiny that makes us... family.) 13:04, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
Two more things. One, kill off the Level 3 headers, use ;History etc. Two, if you want, you can go to your preferences and turn on RefTools 2.0, which will make formatted citations with information, rather than what you have been doing. If you do that it would make my life easier. Mitch32(There is a destiny that makes us... family.) 13:59, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
I looked in My Preferences, and I didn't see RefTools 2.0 anywhere. There are some references that apply to 11, that I cant apply to specific sentences, but they're related to the proposed upgrade into the formerly proposed "North Shore Expressway." CR 111 really should be kept, for the same reasons as 46, 48, 83, 94, 97, and 105. I'd like to try 50 next, but I'll get to the others. ----DanTD (talk) 14:42, 4 July 2012 (UTC)

Remaining issues

County Route 99 (Suffolk County, New York) currently has a "C" rating. Are you sure you still want me to merge this one? Additionally, I also thought of CR 36 earlier today. I'm kind of torn about that. Meanwhile, I just found an image for the CR 21 article which I took in my brief time on Long Island earlier this month. Aside from that, the only thing keeping me from merging this is the history. ----DanTD (talk) 22:43, 4 July 2012 (UTC)

The Cs will go, no matter the class. 99 can be axed. Mitch32(There is a destiny that makes us... family.) 23:00, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

Okay, it's done. Now I'm deciding between 21 & 36 on which goes first(I think I can get away with the merge of 36 after all.). I think I'm going to have to create a commons category for 36, though, despite the small number of pics that would be in this gallery right now. ----DanTD (talk) 13:16, 6 July 2012 (UTC)

What is the point of this article? It is an almost exact duplicate of content that already exists in two sections of the Staten Island Railway article. Unlike the other boroughs or railroad systems, the SIR only has one active line with 21 stations and the charts for the closed lines are not that big and can easily be incorporated into the main article. Unless you can find substantially more information about the stations that warrants them to have their own list article, I am considering nominating it for deletion. Medford Image

File:NY 112 @ RR & Ohio Avenues.JPG Did you mean Peconic Avenue? - http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=40.815783&lon=-73.000129&zoom=18&layers=M Or is the OSM map for this location in error for this location?

Removing, "western terminus" seems to have resolved out difficulty. --JimWae (talk) 21:39, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

Oh, so you thought when I mentioned "western terminus," it was the western terminus of the parkway itself. ----DanTD (talk) 22:47, 16 July 2012 (UTC)

The usual AFD suspects are at it again. Gamweb (talk) 07:50, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
