Stop iconPer Wikipedia's manual of style (and, in addition, common courtesy), transgender people are referred to by their own expressed preference (except if you are directly quoting someone). Changing this is very close to pure vandalism, and can result in your being blocked. Please consider this a level-2 warning. Ignatzmicetalk 16:36, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Changing method from what is recorded on Sherdog[edit]

Hi- you appear quite regularly to be changing the method of victory on MMA fighters' pages from what is listed on Sherdog (which is the agreed source) to what you allege it to be. There are a few examples but one is here. Please do not make these edits unless they are to change to what Sherdog says. Thanks. NEDOCHAN (talk) 11:23, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

March 2019[edit]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to David Branch (fighter). CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:17, 13 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Daniboy0202, You have been informed multiple times on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Mixed martial arts on "Method guidelines - "In the column Method, unless sources within the body text of the article state otherwise, always use the result that is available in a fighter's record at Sherdog Fight Finder. Do not use your interpretation of a fight result in the record, as the threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. Any result that is not referenced or that is not the same as in Sherdog, must be returned to how it is described in Sherdog." and yet you continue to change the method as per you liking. Please stop doing so, for you would be block. If you need any assistance, pls raise your questions on my talk page for assistance. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:24, 13 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Daniboy0202, For MMA fighters, the weight is as per the weight division they competes in. If a fighter missed weight on certain bout, we just stated in the event page and the fighter's page body text and fight table. As for the infobox weight info, we dont change it. Thank you. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at UFC 269, you may be blocked from editing. Cassiopeia talk 22:07, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Blank out? Where did i do that? The UFC confirmed that UFC 269 will take place at T-Mobile Arena. I'm just doing the same thing ya'll are doing. Why do you keep bothering me? Daniboy0202 (talk) 22:51, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There is no source in the page indicated the claim nor you have provided as sources for your claim. Remember, info added needs to be verified by independent, reliable source (note: UFC is considered NOT independent as UFC events is related to UFC itself". The editor who change/add the content needs to provide the source as per WP:PROVEIT guidelines. I am not here to bother you but to letting you know about your edit and to deter you from making the same edits and at times share some light the Wikipedia guidelines. I am more than happy to provide you a list of MMA editing guideline if you want. Stay safe and best. Cassiopeia talk 23:45, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Chris Gutiérrez. Cassiopeia talk 23:59, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Chris won the fight by a flying knee. Not a knee. You call it poorly sourced, but it is literally what happened. It wasn't just a knee. It was a *flying* knee. Just calling it a knee is wrong. That's not what happened in the fight. Daniboy0202 (talk) 19:09, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
