Re your edit to Jogaila. Three things:

1. Generally, links are added only once. For example, Queen Jadwiga is linked at the beginning of the article and therefore not linked further down.
2. Common words (like hunting, alliance, etc.) are not linked. See also WP:Links
3. If you want to ask for citation, please use {{fact}}. This is a template that will generate the proper tag. Note that the word "fact" is surrounded by double curly brackets.

Battle of Chojnice

Hi Dario! I have added some stuff to the article of the Battle of Chojnice and I see that you have done some editing there yourself. According to the editing history of the article, it seems you have removed some info that contradicts your info. I guess the things you deleted were unreferenced, so that should not be a problem. Now I have added pretty much the same things that you took away, and included some text in the article itself as well. As you can see, this is properly sourced this time, and should therefore not be removed. Mustangs, etc.

Dario, let's discuss this Spanish/Iberian horse/Mustang stuff here instead of across three different article talk pages. You are clearly upset about something, but the things you claim to be upset about appear to be based on misreading an article, not fully understanding the English language, or taking things out of context. So I'd like to figure out what your actual concerns are. I do think all these articles could use some improvements, but they need to be thoughtfully done to meet the criteria of wikipedia for reliability and Verifiability. You have found some good research materials, but seem to be having trouble using them properly. I'd like to help out here, but I also need you to tone down the insults and innuendo. With all do respect Montanabw, do refrain from patronizing me, and in turn do some learning and studding first - e.g. do read my discussion and suggestions to your reversion to the Iberian horse page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Iberian_horse I am afraid I do not want to discuss the Spanish/Iberian horse/Mustang stuff on my talk page, you can do it on yours. My concerns are simple - accuracy, historicity, and current research. I admit to not using proper wikipedia citation method, I guess I prefer the one I learned at the university and scientifically based bibliography list (primary and secondary sources), when possible, (btwy I am fine with my Americana English, my 4th language). So if you would like us to work together ask me for a source (and I usually will have it) and do not undo my additions with 'heavy hand,' simple and civilized method I daresay, in my opinion normally being used on Wikipedia, but then who knows perhaps my English stops me from seeing the 'right' way? howgh!DarioTW (talk) 06:14, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

However, I think it's not necessary to give numerous details about the war itself (especially, as its course is far from actually clear to academic specialists, owing to the paucity and complex nature of the evidence); therefore, I think it's better to stick to the basics on this subject in Rutilius's bio article - fuller details about the war can be given in the article about the war.

So, please have another look at my version:

"Marcus Rutilius Lupus was Prefect of Egypt during the Jewish uprising of 115-117 (the Kitos War). The magnitude of this rebellion was beyond prefect's power to suppress and he needed assistance from Marcius Turbo in quelling and pacifying the province, eventually achieved with enormous loss of life and property."

I think it captures the essentials, without getting bogged down in an unnecessary descriptio of the war itself.

salve, the edit is ok, my only comment might be about the importance of his actions as refuge giver to the non-rebelious Jews of Egypt, quite important in this time of enormous bloodshed. Our Project has been operational since 1 June, 2005, and also serves as the Poland-related Wikipedia notice board. Battle of Brest (1794)

Thank you for your contributions to the article. However, please insert inline citations to indicate where you got the information. You seem to have made several unnecessary changes in language/tone which reflect a more pro-Polish point of view. I understand this as you seem to be from Poland, but make sure your language is as neutral as possible. I would also have split the large paragraph into several smaller ones instead.

this article on the battle of Terespol reeks of ignorance of pertinent sources, facts, research and lack even small knowledge of the complicated times during the end of Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth. The Russian language links have copied, albeit with lots of bias and nit-picking, works by Stanislaw Herbst and Tadeusz Korzon. The last editor is not even knowledgeable of Polish language.... You cna do what you like with the article. I am not touching it at this time after my edit. Additionally, usage of term - 'Polish rebels' - for the Kosciuszko's army is inappropriate and outright wrong as these soldiers were Polish state soldiers fighting the invasion of the evil empires: Russia and Prussia, de facto et de jure partners in crime ( destroying Poland-Lithuania in 1772, '92, '95) who against the norms of international law partitioned a free state, and enslaved its peoples.

Folklore and Chivalry

That is a tremendous source sample I am looking forward about the idea the folklore of Native American warrior who became legends throughout the centuries. The Song of Hiawatha coming from the Onondaga, in the 16th century, Shoshone and Comanche, who started nations from about 3,000 B.C.E.( or possibly alot earlier to 5,000 B.C.E.), also reports legendary folkore of two warrior hunters, in The Legend of Manitous Springs, and their chivalrous deed to deal with each other under The Great Spirit Manitou. Many legends chivalrous legends are still out there and hoping to find some sources of warriors and chivalrous deeds back from 4,000 B.C.E. and later on translated to the Modern Age.--GoShow (...............) 17:56, 27 August 2012 (UTC)

Unlike many other WikiProjects, we are quite active; we get close to a hundred discussion threads each year and we do a pretty good job at answering all issues raised. Last year we were featured in the Signpost, and our interviewer was amazed at our activity. In the end, however, even as active as we are, we are just a tiny group - you can easily become one of our core members! In addition to a lively encyclopedic, Poland-related, English-language discussion forum, we have numerous useful tools that can be of use to you - and that you could help us maintain and develop: we have an active assessment department. As of now, our project has tagged almost 83,000 pages as Poland-related - that's an improvement of over 3,000 new pages since the last newsletter. Out of which 30 still need a quality assessment, and 2,000, importance assessment. We have done a lot to clear the backlog here (3 years ago those numbers were 1,500 and 20,000, respectively). Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized.
