I'm trying to make an entry on a different talk page, and failing.

So let this be a reminder to myself, to learn how this bloody machine works.

It looks like you got it. If you have a question, try using the {{Help me}} template, like this:
==How does X work?==
{{Help me}}
Your question.

Or you can post a question at Wikipedia:Help desk. Cheers! --Dennis Bratland (talk) 15:07, 14 July 2013 (UTC)

WP:BLP[edit]

Please be aware that Wikipedia's policy about biographies of living people applies to talk pages. The colorful phrase in this edit, referencing baked goods, skates right up to the line, if not past it. Please consider deleting it. David in DC (talk) 15:25, 23 March 2016 (UTC)

Information icon Please refrain from using talk pages for general discussion of the topic or other unrelated topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article; not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. A couple of suggestions: Include potential sources in your comments so others can see it is something other than your own opinion. Clearly indicate what content you are suggesting be changed so others can see how your comments relate to improving the article. --Ronz (talk) 17:45, 24 April 2016 (UTC)

See WP:DR. I don't believe I can help you much at this point. --Ronz (talk) 19:33, 24 April 2016 (UTC)

The Structure of the Physical Universe[edit]

The article on the book was deleted in Jan 2015 after WP:Articles for deletion/The Structure of the Physical Universe. I have de-linked the reference from the author's article. JohnCD (talk) 16:03, 26 July 2016 (UTC)

You left a note on my talk page asking for advice. I responded https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Mark_v1.0#Mark.2C_Help_please. . --Mark v1.0 (talk) 11:39, 14 September 2016 (UTC)

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:38, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
